Hallo und danke für deine Frage.  Die Beta AR Jacke ist für den Einsatz beim Wandern und Bergsteigen designt und auf Vielseitigkeit, Wetterschutz und Langlebigkeit ausgelegt. Sie ist zwar keine skispezifische Jacke, aber dank ihrer GORE-TEX PRO Konstruktion bietet sie auch beim Snowboarden wasserdichten und winddichten Schutz. Sie hat allerdings keine aufs Snowboarden ausgerichteten Features wie Schneefang, längerer Saum oder Skipasstasche. Mit dieser Jacke hast du ein einfacheres, minimalistisches Modell. Die Beta AR hat keine eigene Isolierung. Um warm zu bleiben, musst du ein Schichtensystem tragen, dass du je nach Bedingungen anpassen kannst.

Hi Patti, thanks for reaching out. The helmet-compatible DropHood™ on the Beta AR Jacket can absolutely be worn comfortably without a helmet. It features internal adjustment points that allow you to cinch the hood down for a more secure and precise fit when a helmet is not being worn. While it is designed to accommodate a helmet, most users find that the adjustment system provides a comfortable fit for everyday use as well. We hope this helps!
