Bring your eligible, used Arc’teryx gear to a store or mail it to us. You’ll receive a credit worth 30% of the original retail price, and we’ll ensure the item gets a second life. TRADE-IN is only available in Canada and the US.

Before you trade in
TRADE-IN eligibility
Gear must be in great condition and completely functional. This means no rips, large stains, odors or broken zippers.
What can you trade in?
All Arc’teryx product that meets the above condition standards, excluding the below:

- GORE-TEX Shakedryâ„¢ jackets
- Pack water bladders
- Headwear, accessories, and gloves
- Underwear, Bra's or Socks
- Air bags
- Harnesses and climbing gear
- Ski boots
- Footwear (older than 2 years)
- Arc'teryx LEAF
- Any products with personal custom embroidery (Arc’teryx-approved custom heat transfers are allowed).

Frequently asked questions
In the U.S. or Canada you can bring your used gear to trade in at any Arc'teryx store or outlet, or you can trade in online. Your gear must fall within the eligibility criteria, be in good condition and completely functional with the inner product label still attached.
Once inspected and approved, you will receive a digital gift card to use on arcteryx.com or RESALE.arcteryx.ca. Our store finder can help you find the closest Arc'teryx brand store near you.
Items that are eligible for trade in will be worth 30% of their original retail value. This will come in the form of an Arc’teryx digital gift card.*
Note: For online trade-ins (U.S. & Canada only), a small amount will be deducted from the total on the gift card to cover shipping costs.

Trade-in gear must be in good condition and completely functional.

If you're in the U.S. or Canada, you can start your trade-in online or bring it to an Arc'teryx store or outlet. Right now our ReBIRDâ„¢ RESALE and TRADE-IN program isn't available outside North America, but we're working on it.
When submitting a trade-in online, you will need to tell us a little about the item(s) you're trading in, then you will have to request a pre-paid shipping label and send your item with a box you supply.
Note: For online trade-ins (U.S. & Canada only), a deduction will be made from the trade-in's total value to cover the cost of shipping.
Items traded in through a brand store will have no shipping deductions.
Yes! We’ve restarted our trade-in program in all Arc’teryx brand stores. As a precaution for Covid we’re asking that all used gear be washed and not worn post-wash to avoid contact with one’s face area before being traded in.
Once you have shipped your gear to us for trade-in, we cannot return it if we find it is not acceptable for resale. However, if you bring your gear to an Arc'teryx brand store for trade-in, you will be able to take it home with you if it is found not in resellable condition.
