Hurts everywhere and sizing issues

This shoe is overall not recommended. Right from the start, sizing is difficult to determine. Had to buy 3 different sizes to figure out that sizing down 1/2 size is best for me. The overall process to find the right size took about a week and half, not to mention having $380 on hold for some time. Once sizing was okay, I cut the tag off and went on a 2 mile walk. The shoe creates a hard pressure point at the top of the ball of your feet. I tried adjusting the tightness and shifting thing around but it was still there and leaves your feet aching at the end. The midsole digs into your arch. Overall, my feet were begging to take the shoes off at the end of a short walk. I can't imagine running in these on trails/climbs. I love the brand and wanted to be the first to trust the new shoe would be revolutionary, but it has disappointed. The worst part is not being able to return these even though they are only slightly used. Do not buy if you want to lose $190. I recommend going to an established brand like Hoka.

Pressure point

Sadly can't wear these. Apparently for higher volume feet. When I tightened the laces enough, there was too much material under the laces and it had to be folded over, making it a pressure point at the top of my foot. Also think the firmer midsole under the forefoot is misguided. I'd rather have cushion under foot when running down the trail and they'll scramble just fine without a firmer front.

wonky size run

I thought I sized down. size 8 uk 8.5us for men is not a 42. normally wear size 9us. I'm gonna size down to 41/41,5. not sized like the sylan
