Defective fabric with little use

what is this effect that has occurred in an atom with little use? Were I live is hot and it hasn't been used much, it's been treated well... I have another atom and this hasn't happened. I guess the fabric will be defective and they can replace my jacket.

Best mid layer insulation piece I have found, better than Patagonia Nano Puff and Micro Puff. I wear the hoody outdoors and on weekends and the jacket to work and when I’m going to be outside to inside a lot. Only weather that challenges it is stiff sideways wind that cuts through side panels. But they’re also the feature that makes it so breathable and fit well. Check out the new season of Terminal List Dark Wolf, the main character wears the older Black Sapphire color Atom Hoody throughout.

Durability issues

Very comfortable and looks great, let down by durability. Jacket developed wrinkling around neck area, raised service request and was told caused by facial hair which I don’t have. Promised a call back which I have had, after much chasing have now given up. I have multiple Arc’teryx products and are my favourite brand however this will be my last purchase. Not isolated issue please look at the reviews.

The Atom hoody has served me well as my go-to lightweight covering for bouldering and sport across California over the last two years. It stays quite warm, especially when active, and has never left me disappointed in the Spring-Fall months. Fit runs small on broad chest/shoulders, but otherwise no complaints. I only wish it had a small stuff sack like some of the heavier Arc'Teryx jackets!

Brilliant piece of kit. Really nice colour way with the Forge. (Looking forward to the Beta shells getting the same Forge colour I hope this fall) I own a few Atom Hoodies and they all fit true to size. I am 6ft 195 lbs and a large fits me perfectly. I wear the Atom standalone as well as an insulation layer in the winter months with either my Beta or Beta AR shells. Very versatile jacket. You won’t regret this purchase.

Too small

This was part of my first order from ARC’TERYX along with the delta hoody. Pretty disappointed in sizing with both. I looked at the official sizing guide as well as reviews from other people and came to the conclusion that I should get a size small. Big mistake. Way too small. It’s 2025. I don’t understand what is so difficult about including measurements for the size run of your items. Too much variability in the way individuals wear their clothing for customer reviews to be helpful in that sense. PLEASE INCLUDE MEASUREMENTS, OBJECTIVE DATA THAT WILL HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS SHOP.

Worst product I have ever purchased.

Absolutely atrocious jacket. I purchased this jacket thinking it would be an awesome product that would last years. Within a short period of time the material on the sleeve had become worn after using it with a small rucksack. I complained and was offered a 45% discount off another product, no thanks. I did have to fight for a replacement product. The customer service is poor and unhelpful. The material on the sleeve is paper thin and when I discussed it with customer service I was told it was not suitable for use with a ruck sack even though there are models on their website wearing ruck sacks. I would not recommend Arcteryx to anyone poor quality clothing and awful customer service. DO NOT BUY THIS AWFUL JACKET OR ANYTHING ARCTERYX!!
