Affectionately nicknamed 'Hoji', Eric Hjorleifson’s last name has only been properly pronounced once in history. This Canadian skier is so beloved, he might actually become Canada’s next Prime Minister by write-in ballot. Known as a 'skier’s skier', Hoji’s pillow drops and steep spine lines are works of art, while his perfectly balanced turn makes him instantly recognizable. An obsessive tinkerer, Hoji has made his mark in product design with boots, skis and other pieces of gear, advancing skiing through informed inputs. Also known for his humility, the magnanimous skier made a self-titled documentary with long-time film making partners Matchstick Productions, which was almost more about his friends and family then himself.
