Question 5

Question 6

Recomendarias la Alpha Jacket para senderismo?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Question 7

I need a jacket that would mainly be used for backcountry skiing (prob as a 3rd layer) but also a bit for ski alpinism (nothing crazy since I'm starting). What would you recommend ? (I own a mammut goretex but it's super light and not for cold weather.)

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi Arthur, thanks so much for reaching out! For backcountry skiing and entry-level ski alpinism, the Alpha Jacket could be a great outer layer. It’s built with GORE-TEX PRO ePE for excellent weather protection and durability, and includes features like an adjustable StormHood™ and RECCO® reflector for added safety. Please note that it’s not insulated, so pairing it with a warm midlayer (like a Cerium or Atom) would be key for colder conditions. If you're looking for something warmer and more ski-specific, the Macai Jacket might be worth considering. It’s an insulated shell designed for snowsports, with features like a powder skirt and RFID pass pocket. Feel free to explore more options in our Ski & Snowboard collection, as well as our Layering Guide to help you build the right system.
