Question 1

Please clarify; the item says FC0-DWR(no PFAS) yet under sustainability it states it is PFAS Compliant. PFAS compliant would mean PFAS would be under a certain level set by a governing body. this item could have PFAS in/on it., Please explain this

Amelie, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello, thank you for your question. We understand the confusion. Only the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment on this product is PFAS-free. The remaining materials are PFAS-compliant, meaning they meet current regulatory requirements. While no intentionally added PFAS may be used beyond those compliant applications, trace amounts from manufacturing processes or the supply chain cannot always be completely ruled out. We hope this helps clarify the distinction.

Question 2

Tengo duda con la talla, de otras marcas (ex Hagloff) llevo la talla 34. Aquí creo adecuada la talla 2R. ¿sería correcta

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thank you for your question. Currently, the Women's Gamma SL Pant in size 12 is available in Regular (12-R) and Tall (12-T) inseam lengths only. A Short (12-S) inseam is not currently offered in size 12.

Question 4

Does the Gamma LT pant have the same fit as the regular Gamma pant?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Annie, thanks for reaching out. The Gamma SL Pant was previously the Gamma Lightweight Pant. Both the current Gamma SL Pant and the Gamma Pant feature our Fitted fit, so they will have a similar overall silhouette. The main differences are in the fabric and intended use, with the Gamma SL Pant using a lighter, more breathable fabric. To find the best fit, we recommend comparing your body measurements to our size chart, as this will provide the most accurate sizing guidance. If your measurements fall between sizes, choose the larger size for a looser fit or the smaller size for a closer fit. We hope this helps!

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Jennifer, thanks for reaching out. For stain removal on the Gamma SL Pant, we recommend spot cleaning with 1 part Nu Technical Detergent diluted with 3 parts water. Alternatively, a dilution of dishwashing detergent can also be used. For more information on stain removal, please check out our Product Care page here: https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/help/product-care/stain-removal/

Question 6

How do I adjust the bottom of the legs , to tighten the cuff?

Luna · Accepted Answer

Hi Lesley, thank you for your question. The Gamma SL Pant doesn’t have a built-in drawstring at the cuff, but it does feature eyelets at the hem so you can attach a shock cord to help secure the cuffs over your boots. If you’re looking for a softshell pant with an integrated drawstring at the cuffs, we recommend the Gamma Pant. It’s made with a different fabric but offers a similar fit to the Gamma SL Pant. We hope this helps!

Question 7

How does the size 8R for the 2025 Gamma SL pant compare to the size 8 Gamma LW pant for 2024? It looks to me that your size chart has changed in the past year. If I go by your current size chart, then I should order a 6R and not my usual size 8.
