Question 1

I bought a pair of Konseal’s a few years ago and need another pair as they are well used. I need another pair but am not sure if they are the water proof ones or just regular. The Art. NO is: 075947-474154. Will you be getting other colours?

Amelie, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Jiru, thank you for your question. Based on the article number provided, the pair you purchased a few years ago was the Konseal FL 2, which is not waterproof. If you're looking for a waterproof option, we currently offer the Konseal GTX, which features GORE-TEX protection, as well as the standard Konseal model that is not waterproof. At this time, there are no additional colours planned for this season for the Konseal lineup. New colours and updates will occur throughout each new season drop, so be sure to stay tuned when we come out with our next collection by signing up to our newsletter here: https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/email-signup. If you need any assistance choosing between the Konseal models, please feel free to reach out to our Guest Services team or visit an Arc'teryx Brand Store.

Question 2

How does the white hold up

Blake · Accepted Answer

Hello, and thank you for your question. The white colorway of the Konseal Shoe is designed with the same durability and performance as the other color options. However, showing marks, dirt, and scuffs is inevitable with lighter-colored footwear and may become more noticeable the more you use the shoes and depending on the conditions in which they're worn. Fortunately, the shoes can be maintained by spot cleaning with a soft brush or cloth as needed. While regular cleaning can help preserve their appearance, some staining and signs of wear should be expected as part of normal use on trails, approaches, and everyday adventures.

Question 3

Are this water proof for ice

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Sudson, the Konseal Shoe in this version is not waterproof, so it won’t provide the protection you’d need for icy or wet conditions. If you’re looking for the same fit and feel but with reliable weather protection, we do offer the Konseal GTX Shoe, which uses a GORE‑TEX membrane to keep water out while maintaining breathability. https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/shop/womens/konseal-gtx-shoe-9972

Question 4

Should I spray them with something for waterprofing before use?

Blake · Accepted Answer

Hello Laura, thank you for your question. The Konseal Shoe is pre-treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment applied to the upper to help shed light moisture and dry quickly, so additional treatment is not typically necessary before first use. If you find that the water repellency reduces over time, you can apply our NU Durable Water Repellent spray to help maintain the shoe's performance. That said, the Konseal is not a waterproof shoe, so if you're expecting prolonged exposure to wet conditions or prioritize waterproof protection, you may want to consider the Konseal GTX, which features a GORE-TEX membrane for waterproof weather protection. https://arcteryx.com/dk/en/shop/womens/konseal-gtx-shoe-9972

Question 5

I'm confused about the sizing. I normally wear a Euro size 39, approximately 8 1/2 in US sizing; however, according to their sizing chart, I should order a 7 1/2. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have never ordered shoes from arcteryx thx!

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Celeste, thanks for reaching out. According to our sizing chart, an EU 39 converts to a US Women's 7.5. We understand this may differ from the sizing you typically wear, as sizing can vary between brands. For the most accurate fit, we recommend measuring your foot length in centimetres and comparing it to our size chart. If your measurement falls between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a roomier fit or the smaller size for a more precise fit. We hope this helps!

Question 6

Where are these shoes made?

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Mary, the Konseal Shoe is manufactured by Idea (Macao Commercial Offshore) in China.

Question 7

Do they have arch support?

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question. The Konseal Shoe has a supportive EVA midsole and a carbon‑fiber shank for stability on uneven terrain, but it does not feature structured arch support.

Question 8

What is your return policy?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. You can find the most up-to-date and complete details about our return policy, including eligibility and timelines, on our website here: https://arcteryx.com/us/en/help/returns

Question 9

Hi is there arch support? Thanks Lisa

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Lisa, thank you for reaching out! The Konseal Shoe provides excellent midfoot stability thanks to its carbon fibre shank, which adds stiffness for handling heavy loads, and a compressed EVA midsole that delivers lasting cushioning and support over challenging terrain. This shoe is designed for a Precision Fit, meaning it fits snug across the width of the foot with slightly less space in front of the toes. It doesn’t have a very pronounced arch support, but you can add custom insoles if you need extra arch support. For more information and fit and sizing, we recommend checking out our Footwear sizing chart and the Fit & Sizing information on the product page. You are also more than welcome to order a few sizes to try them on at home. We offer free shipping and free returns on all online orders from arcteryx.com, so you can easily return any size(s) that do not work at no extra cost.

Question 10

Are insoles removable?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Tree, thanks for reaching out. The insoles in the Konseal Shoe are removable. We hope this helps!
