Question 1

When I look at the winter jackets it says that it is designed for extreme cold. When I then go to the jacket it only says cold. And in the answeres you are saying that it is only designed for mild cold conditions.. what is correct?

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Sara, great question! The Liatris Down Jacket is insulated with 92.85 g of 850‑fill European grey goose down plus Coreloft™ Continuous 90, which gives it solid warmth. It’s important to note that our products are primarily designed for West Coast Canadian winters, meaning wet, cold, and generally mild conditions rather than deep‑freeze environments. That’s why you may see different wording between the product description page and the answer we give. Depending on where you’re located, the Liatris can absolutely perform well, but it isn’t built as an extreme‑cold specialist; it’s meant for everyday winter use in climates that balance moisture and moderate cold. We hope this helps!

Is this the warmest jacket you make for women at this length or shorter? If not will you share your recommendation own your warmest winter jacket. We live in Grand Rapids.

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thank you for your question! The Liatris Down Parka is, at this time, our warmest women’s jacket offered in a shorter length. It delivers the highest level of winter insulation in that silhouette, so if you’re looking for maximum warmth without going into full‑length parkas, this is currently the top option. We’ve only just begun releasing our fall assortment, and more winter pieces, including heavier, more insulated options, will be arriving soon. If you prefer something even warmer for Grand Rapids winters, keeping an eye on upcoming releases over the next few weeks will give you access to our fullest cold‑weather lineup.
