Question 2

I have not been able to find a tailor who uses ST-SRT4000 13mm. Where do I look to get these pants hemmed correctly?

Dante, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we are unable to recommend specific tailors or alteration services for hemming the Khara Pant. Arc'teryx does not offer customization or alteration services, nor do we provide seam tape materials such as ST-SRT4000 13mm for third-party modifications. If you choose to have the garment altered, we recommend consulting a professional tailor with experience working on technical outdoor apparel. Please note that any alterations performed by a third party are at the owner's discretion and may affect the garment's performance characteristics as well as our Limited Warranty eligibility if the alteration contributes to a future issue. We hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Question 3

Does this pant have fleece inside?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi June, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Khara Pant features a brushed backer on the inside. This has a soft, fleece-like feel against the skin and provides light insulation for added comfort in cooler conditions. We hope this helps!

Question 4

son pantalones para el verano?

River · Accepted Answer

Question 5

I tried this on in the store and the 4 was just a little too tight and the 6 was slightly loose and definitely long on me. Which one do you suggest I go with?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Bobbi, thanks for reaching out. It really depends on the kind of fit you prefer. If you like a bit more room to move or layer, the larger size could be the way to go. If you prefer a closer, more tailored feel, the smaller size might be a better choice. You might also want to consider which size feels more comfortable when you move around. We hope this helps!

Question 6

What exactly do you mean when you say that the hem is constructed to allow tailoring. I need to shorten these pants and would like to do it in a recommended manner if there is one.

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Catherine, thanks for reaching out. The lamination technique (BEMIS) allows for easier deconstruction and re-lamination without damaging the fabric the way stitching/restitching would. The specific hemming technique used for hemming the Khara Pant is called ST-SRT4000 13mm.
