Question 2

Are there any differences between the 2024 and 2025 version of the Diode jacket?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Steve, thanks for reaching out. There have been no revisions to the Diode Jacket between the 2024 and 2025 versions. The materials, fit, and overall construction remain the same. The primary difference is the manufacturing location. The 2025 version, model number X000010022, is manufactured in Vietnam, while the previous 2024 version, model number X000009109, was manufactured in Canada. We hope this helps!

Question 4

Does this jacket have a draw string cinch at the bottom?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi Shae, thanks for your question! Yes, this jacket features hem adjusters with hidden Cohaesive™ cord locks, which function like a drawstring cinch at the bottom. They allow you to fine‑tune the fit while maintaining the clean, minimalist lines of the design. We hope this helps!

Question 5

I saw only Diode jacket has "GORE-TEX ePE Gen 2" rather than just "GORE-TEX ePE" in the newer Arris jacket, is there any different between GORE-TEX ePE and gen 2?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi Mitchell, thanks for your question! There's no difference in the materials between GORE-TEX ePE and GORE-TEX ePE Gen 2 - it's simply the new season iteration. We apologize for any confusion.

Question 6

Given the weather collar, is it possible to layer a hooded softshell under this for extra warmth? Like the mainline Arcteryx Atom Hoody, for example.

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Iskander, thanks for reaching out. The Diode Jacket features our relaxed fit, making it easy to layer for added warmth. The stand collar is designed to stay upright, so for the most comfortable layering experience, we recommend pairing it with a midlayer that does not have a hood, such as the Atom Jacket. This will help reduce bulk around the neck and improve overall fit. We hope this helps!
