I love this hoodie!

I have purchased three Kyanite Lt Hoodies to date in 3 different colors. They are a great weight for layering underneath other garments, but can also be worn alone. I particularly like the material and cut.

Warm, comfortable and stylish

Great quality and colour, inner fleece is soft and it’s a nice mid layer for all seasons or an outer for warmer weather. I like the length of the zip up to cover my neck and the hood is great for wind or cold. Only con is the material can snag easily and mine has a few small runs on the arms.

Comfortable Lightweight Hoody

I purchased the Kyanite LT hoody 6 months ago and wore it daily throughout the summer while biking, hiking and backcountry camping. It is perfect as a lightweight stand-alone jacket or as a layer under a waterproof shell. It is comfortable and warm in cooler temperatures at night or in light rain. The hoody is described as a next-to-skin and trim fit, however, the fit is large and roomy. I had previously owned the Adahy hoody in size small, which was a snug fit. Based on this and online customer reviews I originally purchased the Kyanite LT in size small. It was voluminous so I returned it for an extra small, which is still relatively loose fitting. The colours online are not representative of the actual colour of the fleece. Dakini appears as a vibrant fuscia online but is a muted dark rose colour with contrasting dark stitching. Also, Astral is a blue-green teal online but is actually closer to a true dark green. If possible, it is best to see the colours in person at an Arc’teryx retailer before ordering to make sure you get the colour that you want.

Comfy and functional

This has become my spring go to layer. The material feels great next to the skin or as an additional layer over a t shirt. Its nice and breathable, and warm for its weight. A great little active piece that's super light to carry or just a great hoody for wearing around town or day to day activities. The happy bright colors are an additional plus!

Comfortable fit but...

I really love the way this fits and how comfortable the material is. I find it helps keep me a comfortable temperature when a bit chilly out. I am disappointed that the threads are unraveling at the cuff after only about a month of gentle wearing (mostly around house and out in the cooler mornings), and it has not even been washed. I am nervous to wear this rock climbing which I was hoping to be able to do but I think it may get holes easily where it is unraveling. I did expect better durability. I am fearful to ever wash this item. I wouldn't buy another one, and would have given this item 5 stars if it was more durable.

Thin but perfect

Perfect length, perfect cut. You feel at home right away. When I opened the package I thought "I paid over $100 for this little thing?", but then I put it on and it hasn't been off since. Perfect for layering and next to skin over a tank.

My Go-To Cardigan

I bought this in navy blue and wore it so often that I decided to get another one. So I bought the bright orange color, which is indeed bright! I really love the usefulness of this hoody, and I’m glad I now own two of them.

color looks nothing like picture on lie

i have 2 adahy jackets which i love but that model has been discontinued. This is similar but the color on line looks lk a brightish purple but what arrived is a kind of a dull red. The jacket is lovely but will probably send back b/c of that.. wish there were more colors in the red/pink/ purple/lavendar family.. I have a lot of blue/green and black/

I agree with the staining potential of the lighter colors of the hoody as mentioned by Lupa. I have the light green from last year and even very light things like dripping juice from an apple on it will leave a stain that doesn't wash out. I do still wear it all the time and the few small stains aren't too noticeable. Overall I love it, incredibly comfortable, thin, light and keeps me just the right temp. I will just get a dark color next time.
