I bought this jacket a year ago to use for variety of activities (trekking, skying, city walks) alone or with shell during rainy days. It does all is meant to and I live it(light yet covers wide temperature range, great neat fit and easy to pack!)

Bought a few months ago and it’s finally cold enough to wear it. Very packable, light and warm. Great for everyday use. Can’t wait to try and climb with it.

Great Puffy!

Recently acquired one of these to replace an old favorite. Very comfortable and slightly warmer than my previous jacket. I am a little wary of the small, delicate zipper on it. Time will tell to see how that holds up. Other than that, looking forward to the winter season and having this as my everyday go to.

I needed to find a light weight packable and exceptionally warm jacket for hiking in the Himalayas. This fit the bill perfectly, from early morning starts at 20k feet it was practically lived in for the month we was there. Only thing I’d recommend is sizing up for layers beneath.

It's my 3rd. Cerium LT jacket & hoody (now Cerium), it fit even better and got a tad warmer than previous editions. Also, the outer fabric is more robust than before. I'm 1.80 tall, weigh 90 Kg. and the Large size is perfect.

Great light down jacket!

Got it as gift from my partner and really love it. It is light, super warm and has the features you expect, I.e. good pockets and compression bag.
I’m a bit hesitant towards the zipper which is quite light weight but expect it to hold as it’s Arc’teryx.

As the fall season has come around again, I have pulled out my Cerium jacket and am always pleased to wear it. Like all my other Arc’teryx gear this jacket is simple, stylish and high quality. It keeps me warm even during the cold -30C days and is fairly wind resistant. If you need a little more wind resistance and extra warmth just throw a light shell over top. Lastly, this jacket performs well in the city and also during a variety of activities such as hiking, skiing and etc… Fantastic overall

Love this versatile jacket!

This one's been with me everywhere - from under a shell at the top of Kili to by itself window shopping downtown. I love that it's warm, but light enough to not force me to sweat. Plus, it comes with its own stuff sack, and stuffs down to the size of a Bluetooth speaker. Great and packable.

Ultimate overnight jacket

Took this jacket to sunrise hike to Garibaldi and Panorama Ridge and it was more than enough to keep me warm with just a T-shirt underneath. Only one thing that bothered me was the breathability and wearing during high intense activity even with just a t-shirt underneath, I did sweat quite quickly and made it very difficult to take the jacket off after. Other than that, I loved how it packs itself in the bag from the inside pocket of the jacket, extremely lightweight and very comfortable. This is my first ever down jacket and it may have to be my only one because of how versatile and warm it is.

Puffy jacket with a dense full. It has a regular fit and can be worn with a jumper underneath. The colour habitar was more green than brown, so I had to return. But overall a nice jacket.

Tears easily - buy if you do not plan on skiing

Bought this jacket for my son a year ago. He wore it skiing twice. It has six small tears in the fabric with down oozing out and the polyester fill under the arms exposed.

Fell Apart Day One/ Warranty Not Honored

I bought this jacket and wore it once to the grocery store (never for any outdoor sports) when I noticed feathers coming out through the fabric at numerous spots around the jacket. I bought it through St Bernard and it was 10 days past their 30 day return window. I took it to Arc’Teryx ReBird store as part of their warranty program and they accused me of ‘chemically burning’ the fabric and said the best they could do was patch it. They would not replace it or offer a refund even though it had only been worn once. I have several Arcteryx products and use them regularly for outdoor sports and they have held up very well… but this particular jacket fell apart from day one. ArcTeryx did not honor their warranty and instead accused me of trying get over on them (I’m a 45 year old professional and did not appreciate being called a liar, especially since this is the first time I tried to use their warranty program after using many of their products for many years). I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want a company to stand behind their products. I’m beyond disappointed with the product and the service.

I give a 5 star because despite the small issue, it’s still an exceptional Arc’teryx product, for an awesome layerable midlayer. It fits comfortably under my Alpha and Beta jackets and presents nice on it’s own. The only issue I have is that the zipper seem to be lesser quality than the rest of the products I have from Arc’Teryx. I can’t say that it is a less durable product, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the zipper failed during prolonged use. If it’s like any of my other Arc’Teryx products, I shouldn’t have to worry though, just something to consider.

Really happy with this. Really warm for it’s weight. Not built for the coldest day ever, but layers really well for great warmth. Also looks nice enough to dress up. I know some folks don’t like the zipper thinking it’s too delicate, but I haven’t had many issues.
Not a huge fan of the branding on the back of the neck.

Do not buy Oracle colour

I have MANY Arcteryx items (shells, pants, mid-layers, base-layers, etc.) and am a fan of their products, generally speaking. However, DO NOT PURCHASE ORACLE!!! The pictures below are from a jacket that has been worn twice!!! The issue is that the colour of the material (Oracle/i.e. yellow) is see through and the down they use is grey... so the result is what you see in the pictures below. This should never have left the manufacturing facility. Looks "ok" if it is fluffed up and completely dry (although you can still see the grey fill in certain spots) but as soon as it gets any amount of moisture the jacket looks like it was fished out of a dumpster. I am very disappointed in Arcteryx as I cannot imagine below is what one should expect from a $450 jacket. The design team dropped the ball on this colour.

Awesome…but one issue

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. However the zipper is faulty. It keeps busting open randomly from the bottom. I’m not sure if this is the case with all of the, or we got a faulty one.

Pas idéal en protection extérieure, déchirure J-3

Le manteau Cerium est peut-être idéal comme couche intermédiaire, mais il n'est pas du tout idéal comme protection extérieure, pourtant c'est bien ce qui est mentionné dans la description du manteau !
Mon manteau s'est déchiré au niveau de la manche après 3 jours d'utilisation.
Je pensais qu'Arc'teryx était une marque fiable pour randonneurs et personnes actives, mais vendre un manteau 380 euros qui se déchire sur la manche après trois jours d'utilisation de ma part, ça me dépasse (je ne suis pas allé en expédition extrême ou quoi que ce soit de ce genre en plus ; j'ai utilisé ce manteau lors d'un séjour de 3 jours en Cappadoce à l'extérieur, où il n'y a pratiquement pas de végétation, donc beaucoup moins de risque de le déchirer) ! De plus, il s'agit d'un mensonge pur et simple de mentionner dans la description que ce manteau est idéal pour les randonneurs comme protection extérieure !! J'espère que nous pourrons faire marcher la garantie, auquel cas je pourrais m'engager à modifier cette évaluation (si je change d'avis), et tout cela dans la plus grande transparence. Pour l'instant, je ne recommande pas ce produit, et je dois dire que je ne pense plus acheter quoi que ce soit chez Arc'teryx dans le futur...
