Urban jacket

I use this for hanging around town. I've used it for about 2 years and am satisfied with it's performance. The cut of the jacket is unique, especially around the wrists. There is an interesting variety of pockets (your right hand you can access 2 outer pockets, with one of them containing an additional internal storage zippered pocket). The waterproof material is impressive as this jacket withstood 4 hours of constant rain during an outdoor concert. The jacket packs light for travel and daily commute. Unfortunately the hood lacks coverage and consistently slips back and exposes the forehead. Furthermore, the internal material around the neck easily gets stained by sweat - this seems like a common issue with the jacket from what I've read online.

Great jacket and fits much better than the newer boxer pieces. But please, please remove the external loop. I sent it back because of this. Nobody wants the external loop. Please start listening to your customers and please update us when they’ve been removed. And stop making your pieces so oversized.

The cut of this jacket is excellent. It's hard to find Gore-Tex shells that fit well AND are completely waterproof, but this one is. The hood is well proportioned. There are also multiple pockets, including an unusual double pocket configuration on one side, so lots of storage options.

One of the best Jackets from Arc’teryx Veilance

This jacket is my first piece from Veilance and the reason I fell in love with the brand. It is a very stylish and functional rain jacket for urban use. The cut is short in front so it’s easy to reach pant pockets. The Gore Tex material is actually super soft for Arris Jacket compared with other GTX pro ones. Highly recommend this piece.

I love the patterning on this jacket, it's really cool. The cuffs have this fun cut too that hugs your wrist. Very lightweight and flattering.

Simple with Storage

This jacket is super sleek but has a lot of storage. It does everything you want for a daily rain jacket, protection, and style. I wouldn't layer with this jacket for the winter though. I find I use it during Fall or Spring with a base layer underneath to keep the trim fit with less bulk.

Arris Jacket Men's

Designed and refined for the city, the fully waterproof fabric is complemented by a quiet, highly breathable backer that feels cool and comfortable. The low-profile StormHood™ features internal cord routing so you can stay dry on the move.

What's been updated: Updated with PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE with a 100% recycled face and backer, as well as new angular cuffs with internal gaskets, a dropped hem with a shock cord adjuster, and a regular fit.

This product is free of intentionally added PFAS.

The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before.   You may notice the face fabric “wetting out” slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you notice the fabric wetting out faster than you’d like, simply wash the jacket and dry it to remove the oil contamination and bring the DWR back to its full power.
