Great Jacket for everything!

Insanely good, this product is amazing. It is so comfortable to wear all around, especially how sick it looks aswell! It is super durable during rainy and windy conditions. Overall one of my most amazing purchases for outdoor gear.

Great shell but it’s definitely expensive. Haven’t put it to use yet so can’t speak to the goretex but it looks great. I’m 5’8 and I got the medium. A little big but I figure rain jackets should be bigger so you can layer underneath.

Main jacket 'just in case rains' which I use to pack on any kind of trip (business, mtb, trekking, city). Really curious to see how does it perform without the under arm zips, less potential breaking points, but less breathability.

Fantastic Versatile Jacket

I was very hesitant to spend 500 dollars on a rain jacket, however I was very pleasantly surprised with this purchase. This jacket fits very well and is versatile. I am 6'1" 150lbs so I'm relatively slim, but this jacket fits if you feel chilly and decide to wear a big bulky hoodie. The waterproofing is perfect as advertised, and I'm looking forward to giving it more use when I'm on the pacific coast. Since purchasing, I put the exclusive grand opening iron on patch to the right shoulder, which looks pretty badass in my opinion. 10/10 would recommend for those interested

8 hours paddling in Yukon during a torrential downpour. At the end of the day I was the only person with dry clothes.
I was wearing a hat and easily rolled the hood inside to prevent pooling. The large side pockets are easily accessible to the point I could access them without taking off my PFD. Cuffs closed easily and prevented any rain from going into my sleeves. Barely sweat despite working to paddle, wearing my PFD, and 20 degree temperature. Literally shook it dry after the fact. Best rain jacket I've ever owned.

Read this if you want a sort of "long term" review.
(4 months) Excellent improvement in comfort, as the new backing in the jacket is way better than old beta. I can see why some are not satisfied with the DWR treatment, as its not as effective as the older PFAS DWR treatment. But after the first time i treated with DWR it beaded water perfectly. So as is with any changes its not going to be the same. But the improvements on the fabric itself, it's thinner, stronger and softer. It completely makes up for the need to reproof the DWR more often.

Dissapointed in DWR

Bought this jacket about a month ago for my first ever hiking in the swedish mountains. I was hyped buying my first ever gore-tex. The jacket itself is good, i love the fitting, the beautiful color and the light material but it had one downside, the DWR. When the rain came my jacket got soaked and didnt repel any water at all on some spots which made me dissapointed (even through i was still dry) because first time using it and DWR not working was not a good sign for me. Overall good jacket and horrible DWR.

Have only had it a couple weeks but so far so good. Extremely impressed with lightness of the fabric and breathability. I love the cut of the jacket as well. My only wish is that it had pit zips, but I can make do without.

After not even 2 skiing seasons the zipper broke. I had to pay for the repair, although Arcteryx didn‘t deliver what it promises. Disappointed by the quality of the jacket and the support.

This is not a review about the jacket - I've owned it for 7 years (I guess it was called Beta SL Hybrid Jacket then), and it was the best jacket I've ever owned.
I contacted the support team because I noticed that the seams were starting delaminate, which after 7 years of use, I was not surprised about. I just wanted to know how to repair them myself, or if they'd repair it for me. Instead, they sent me a gift card to cover the entire amount (tax, shipping) for me to purchase a brand new Beta Jacket. I was shocked that Arc'Teryx is willing to stand behind their product after 7 years of usage! Their products are a bit expensive - I think we all know that - but after this experience, why would I consider any other brand? THANK YOU!

You can buy fabric markers and carefully fill in the logo with a desired color. I don't like seeing ARC'TERYX either, I prefer just the prehistoric lil guy. With a marker, I can make it most invisible.

Firstly I’m 6”2 and weigh 95kg and have a slim build. I purchased the atom hoody LT before I purchased this beta jacket. I got the atom online in a large and it fit me perfectly. I’d heard mixed reviews about the sizing of the beta jacket so went in store to try it on and found the medium fit me best so it’s best to go in store if you have one and try on. In terms of quality, the beta jacket is great and would highly recommend. It is also very breathable so keeps you cool in warm weather and also keeps you warm in cold weather too! I also had a small problem with my atom hoody which was sorted so quickly by arc’teryx so thank you so much!

Great Value and Great Product

The Beta ePE Jacket is great value. The increased 80D face fabric makes the jacket feel much more durable than the prior version. I find that the weight of this jacket is a perfect balance of not being too heavy, but not too light. A great option for those who want just a simple city rain shell with all-mountain capabilities. Sometimes I find the sound level from the jacket rubbing against itself when walking to be louder than normal, but it is definitely manageable!

这是我们最具功能性的GORE-TEX外壳。它采用耐用的80D面料 GORE-TEX ePE（膨体聚乙烯）薄膜制成，轻便、结实且不含PFC，在提供持久防水、防风、透气保护的同时减少碳足迹。C-KNIT背衬提升舒适度，而简洁的StormHood风帽一拉即可进行调节，提供周全保护的同时不遮挡视线。拼接剪裁保证活动自如，而嵌入式RECCO反射器有助于紧急搜救。
更新了哪些内容：升级款式，采用轻量而耐用的GORE-TEX ePE面料，有助于减少碳足迹，而80D面料在不增加重量的情况下进一步提升耐用性。
此产品不含主动添加的PFAS。
全新的ePE薄膜技术更为轻薄，坚韧耐用程度可与以往所用材料媲美。您可能会注意到ePE薄膜产品的面料“润湿”速度稍快，但请放心，这不会影响薄膜本身的防水性能。如果您觉得面料润湿速度太快，只需清洗并晾干夹克以去除油污，即可使DWR恢复完好性能。
