Beta ar pant

The old style was a hundred percent better. Need the full side zippers so you can get the pants on without removing your boots. Also go back to the gatter bottom so they can go over ski boot. Build the old style beta ar!

Sizing/proportions off

Really wanted these pants to fit the way I had envisaged but getting the sizing right on them is tricky. I ordered 4 different sizes and didn't end up keeping any.

Great pants for a limited time

I used my Beta AR pants for skiing, ice climbing, and biking to work in the rain and they were awesome and could take on anything. Unfortunately, they only lasted for three years post-manufacture date before the entire crotch ripped out when I was skiing. I was quite disappointed as these pants cost $500.

Poor Fit

I love the features of this pant but had to return because they didn't fit properly. I ordered a size medium regular (I typically wear a medium in everything) but there was a ridiculous amount of extra material between the knee and ankle while the waist fit perfectly. Especially disappointing because size medium short is out of stock and unavailable to order in the tatsu color. I would love to order these but cannot. Hope they are back in stock before I begin hiking this spring.

Multi use fully water proof.

Great pant. I use daily for commuting to work in all conditions on my ebike. Holds up to road grime no problem. Multi use pant. Also used for snow boarding, snow shoeing.

zipper brisé et impossible de contacter le service

Le zipper a brisé après seulement 5 minutes que je portais le pantalon, j'ai zippé la poche seulement 3 fois pour y ranger mon téléphone cellulaire et celui-ci a brisé ! J'ai jamais vu ça de toute ma vie. De plus, impossible de soumettre ma demande au service à la clientèle . Impossible de les contacter !!!!

Missing full length zipper from previous versions

Great construction and timely shipping. I had a pair of these for over ten years and I loved them, Never went in the backcountry without them in the pack because of their ease to throw on quickly in inclement weather. As a mountaineer and back country skier, I also appreciate the reinforced instep, protecting from crampons and ski edges. However, this newer model no longer has a full length zipper on the edges and as a result the only way to get them on is to remove whatever footwear you're wearing, which is usually at an inconvenient time if you are finally succumbing to putting on your shell. Likewise, I now hesitate to start out wearing them since I know to shed the layer will mean to stop and remove boots first.
Not knocking on rating, but would be great to have pockets on both legs for this just for options, doesn't seem like the weight difference would be too bad. Just my opinion.

I really wanted to get these, but since they no longer have the ³/4 leg zip, I ended up going with the OR Foray because they have a full zip. Please bring the longer side zip back. I'm not take my footwear off on trail to get these on nor di I want to shove muddy boots down them. Thanks.

Lack fast put on option.

Really nice pants, but I returned the pants because they are not capable to be put on with boots. I'm looking for a model like the Beta (short inseam) with the full zip on each leg to be able to make quick change of cloth in case of rain, but with a really tough Goretex pro tissu like the Alpha SV. I'm also disappointed that Arcteryx don't offer a short inseam option for all their pants model. I'm hesitant to buy the Beta pants because I'm not sure they are touch enough for my need.

Yes please add all pants with short inseam. Very frustrating not being able to find almost any model in the size that fits 👎🏻
