Amazing: I have worn this hat (as a not crazy person I swear) almost everyday for 2 years. Summer/winter it don’t matter this is the hat the get. Keeps your head cool when it needs to and insulated when it’s cold. I can not speak highly enough on how excellent this hat is.

Couldn't live without this thing. Honestly this is the most clutch beanie you could get. keeps you warm, comfy, small. idk its just essential

Based upon reviews already posted, I was apprehensive, but took the plunge and splurged my wonga on this expensive toque only because of the fine fabric as I wanted a very lightweight item to wear indoors and outdoors. Actually, bought two, black and the 'magenta' ish coloured one! If they both hold shape after a few washes, I will be more than happy to give 5 stars. Currently, I would give 3 1/2 stars as the black looks better in appearance compared to the 'magenta' ish one.

Let other people remark about the outdoor features, benefits and uses of this terrific lightweight hat. I took it on an airplane flight, pulled it down over my eyes and ears and enjoyed a sweet ,tranquil block out of the light and most of the ambient noise around me.

I actually bought this for cycling; works great for fitting under a helmet and keeping my ears warm! Can't say I look the most stylish, but it's a fantasticly soft high quality hat.

Super leichte und angenehme Mütze mit einem Nachteil: sie wird immer größer und größer ohne, dass ich sie dehne und reicht mittlerweile bis zur Nasenspitze. Der Versuch sie durch Waschen zu Verkleinern hat genau das Gegenteil bewirkt schade. Bei meinem Partner der ein älteres Modell hat passiert leider genau das Gegenteil... die Mütze wird immer kleiner und kleiner.

I have an Arc'teryx beanie which is my go-to winter head gear, which I've had for about 5 years. I thought I would jettison my other beanies which I never use, and get a backup beanie from Arc'teryx and be covered for the next few years. Seeing the price of this beanie ($45), and the mostly positive reviews, I thought it would be at least of a similar caliber to what I have, if not better. When I received it, the package was so light I didn't think it could possibly have anything in it. The 'Toque' itself was gossamer thin - literally like putting a woman's stocking over your head. I thought, 'Surely? This is Arc'teryx! I can't dis it, until I've tried it!' I walk a mile to work in the Massachusetts winter, which has luckily been rather pathetic this year, so I thought that would be a good test. The wind, such as it was, blew through the headpiece like a joke. I might as well have not been wearing anything. $45 for this! I realize our currency has devalued somewhat, but had I known what I was getting, I wouldn't have paid $5 for it. Very disappointed Arc'teryx - I thought your gear was next level, this particular item is not.

I originally bought this in a black S/M but despite being in the size range (22 -1/2") it was far too tight so I returned it and got a L/XL in relic. That fit was much more comfortable so I'd recommend going the L/XL unless you have a very small head. This is a thin hat but I knew that going in. It will not stop the wind, it will not keep you warm in less that 0 C weather. But, it will fit under a helmet, you can sleep in it, you can wear it on a cool spring/fall day or summer night, you can wear it comfortably car hopping or shopping in the winter, and if your hair is a mess and you don't want to wear a baseball cap this works great. So as long as you know what it can and can't do, it's a great soft beanie that is warm in the right conditions.

The wool is extremely soft and also stretchy. Super versatile and comfortable. Extremely packable. My only complaint is I wish the logo was more subtle, or not there at all (preferably).

I’m very disappointed when I received this hat. Very thin and looks like a cotton hat.

I have a small face/head so it's been challenging finding a toque that doesn't dwarf or give the bobblehead effect. Specifically I wanted something thin just to take the chill off and can smoothly fit under helmets. This isn't it if you're looking for a traditional thick wool toque. For my use case this was perfectly light and comfortable and so very soft. There is some excess at the top (again small head) but the extra bit folds over and stays in place.

The Toque came in the mail with cuts and holes. I’m worried about ordering here again with the quality that I recieved. I was excited to use it for my trip too since I’m a big fan. Hopefully the next time I order, I won’t get holes and slices in my product.

Great hat, thin and comfortable, I’m a size 57 hat and went for a small lots of room left. Soft to the touch and not itchy at all.

The perfect beanie for high output activities in late fall and early spring. I love the revised sizing from last year. The older version was too short, this one is perfect!

I bought one last year in their forage color and used it for high intensity activities under 50-60F. The toque kept me warm without overheating, plus it was large enough for my 7 3/8 head.

The toque aint bad, it’s only I liked the shorter model better. A nice hat to put under a helmet without any excess on the top. But the new one is a bit to tall/long

I have this in army green as well, very light weight for it's efficiency.

This is a LIGHT weight beanie that is perfect for carrying in a pocket and putting on under a hood to add some warmth.
