Some have brains, some have brawn, Drew has tenacity. As a member of the first generation of Olympic climbers, Drew brings a unique background of both real rock experience - from his childhood at Smith Rock - and a strong indoor skillset from the gym. Drew’s passion is personal growth. In his training, he practices balance by always adapting to how he feels and what he needs to work on. He’s rarely seen without a Cheshire cat grin and is known for his amiable sportsmanship. One thing he’s not known for is turning down a mocha latte. When he isn’t climbing he is likely lying on the sofa watching superhero movies. People often think Drew might have superpowers of his own, a notion he scoffs at. However, if you sprinkle a little house music on this wunderkind he’ll be able to rip bolts off the wall.
