Kyanite Jacket Men's

Absolutely love this jacket. I got it in black and it goes from the hiking trail to the office and always feels great and looks appropriate. It also layers with other items really easily. If it only had one more pocket or two (interior vest pocket?) it would be perfect for me.

Fits true to size, only suggestion is maybe adding in a synch towards the bottom to help with flare out when layering

I bought this jacket in November 2023, and within just a month of use, I noticed both sleeves started to show severe pilling, significantly diminishing the aesthetic and functionality of the jacket. This level of wear is highly unusual and disappointing, especially considering the jacket's premium brand and price point. I am reaching out to request a resolution to this issue. I've always liked Arcteryx products and have bought many over the years. However, my recent purchase has left me really disappointed. I regret not reading reviews before buying the Kyanite Jacket and Kyanite Lightweight Jacket last December. I've only worn them indoors around 8 to 10 times and haven't washed them. Yet, the Kyanite Jacket is already showing pilling and looks worn out. This was both surprising and frustrating. I later found out through other reviews that this pilling issue is well-known. I expect to receive a polite response to this review, probably asking me to complete a service request form. But, based on responses to similar complaints, I'm skeptical of any meaningful resolution since pilling is often dismissed as normal and not covered by the warranty. I wouldn´t recommend Kyanite Jacket or Hoody unless you are aware and accept pilling quite soon. I'm going to find a midweight fleece with a casual and stylish look from another brand, as I really like this style. On a positive note, my Kyanite Lightweight hasn't shown any pilling yet and seems more durable."

I bought this jacket 1 month ago as a go to fleece when dog walking/hiking. It's well fitted and comfortable however the material started to pile after a couple of outings. There is considerable pilling on the sleeves and neck which make this jacket really unappealing in appearance and cheap looking. It's a real shame as I own multiple arcteryx products but due to the poor quality of this product I will be looking elsewhere in future. Poor quality and I would expect better for the price. Don't waste your money!

Same great fit as the past style, but with dramatic changes. The zipper is no longer YKK vislon and is now changed to reverse coil. Not bad, just different. The pockets are no longer sewn, but are now welded. I hope they hold up over time. The worst part is the zipper pull tabs are now plastic and no longer webbing. Webbing was a far better solution, but I'll live with plastic. Other than that, the pattern has been updated where I'm not sure they were required or are helpful. Same great fleece.

Looks and feels warm and cozy - ideal for the upcoming winter

The new and unnecessary sizing changes have completely ruined this product. The small is now way too tight in the chest/shoulders and medium way too baggy in the stomach. Had to return both sizes as I can no longer wear the brand!

Absolute piece of junk. Poor quality and way overpriced. I bought this last year, barely a year old and only worn for a few months last fall and early winter. It’s pilling significantly all over the jacket. It’s never been washed and only been used casually. I contacted Arcteryx regarding a warranty replacement and they refused to honor it. I was told pilling “happens over time” and I should buy a tool to de pill it. They literally expect me to spend more money to fix their cheaply made product. I don’t expect to pay this kind of money and have a jacket that looks like it was bought at a thrift store after one year. Their product quality has taken a major dip. So many better and cheaper options. Avoid this overprice d garbage.

I really love this jacket. It’s super comfortable and great to wear everyday. I wish it was always made available in a heavy weight version. It’s warm, but not too warm. I would totally recommend. Fits true to size. I’m 5’5 and got a small, and fits perfect.
