The fleece is supposed to deliver better warmth-to-weight ratio. Not sure if that is the case I have bought this year 5 Arcteryx products to complete satisfaction ; I am not sur about this one!!

Weight to warmth ratio is amazing for such a lite jacket. The layered fleece pattern holds an impressive amount of body heat. This jacket is obviously not an outer layer for super cold or windy conditions. But as a mid-layer over a long-sleeved tshirt and under a decent shell, you can maintain body heat with activity in cooler to cold conditions. I have been wearing mine since early fall and into our cold midwest pre-winter. All that has been required is a change from an uninsulated shell to insulated to manage the temps from 30s to single digits. I love this jacket!

The waffle weave construction makes a great midlayer and is very warm for its light weight. I'm about 6'1" with looong arms and the medium is a great fit. The longer sleeves with the thumb holes make the length just right.

This is a high performance jacket with a few issues involving fit and quality. I have a lean athletic build at 6'4 and 180lbs (195cm and 82kg). The large size fits great in the chest, shoulders and neck, but the waist and seat dimensions that are both about 2 inches too long. I am sure if I put on 10 pounds of belly fat the fit would be perfect. I would classify this as a "regular" fit instead of the "fitted" that is advertised. The sleeves are just long enough, thankfully. The jacket does great for what I need it to do. During spring and fall I wear it over a tee so when I go up the rocks its warm enough to be in the breeze. The material is thin but I always run hot so a light jacket like this was what I've been missing. Rune is a great colorway. In winter it goes under an Atom HW if its cold. Lastly, there are some issues with the quality of the garment. There are a few skipped stitches, broken stitches, untrimmed threads, and the pocket seems really lightly attached. The pocket is stitched on two sides but I can't tell if the other two sides are only glued or not. The zipper has threads flying everywhere, ironically it's the once place where QC has to have their eyeballs on to zip the jacket up. I really hope this jacket will last, Viet Thuan Apparel Co - don't let me down!

This is my second delta jacket great as a layering option particularly when you are trying to go light or want something that can easily stuff into a backpack while hiking.

It is really too bad that Arcteryx designers decided to move away from the warm polartec fabric that they used in the Delta for so many years. It was such a great, versatile product. I have several of the old Delta's in many different colours that I wear constantly, over a tee shirt in the house, when going out for urban activities, and it is a staple when I go hiking. If the temperature drops, I just put an Atom hoody over the old Delta and tee shirt and it is perfect. The new jacket looks nice but it feels too thin and cold on my skin and any body warmth gets removed quickly because it is so permeable to air. There are already lots of thin Arcteryx products for running and other outdoor activities so they needn't have changed this one. Please bring back the old Delta, maybe as a "retro" product. A lot of people would buy it.

The Delta Jacket is a nice weight for everyday use, and a nice lightweight layer for active use. The fit is a little roomy, but not at all oversized. I think the more casual fit is why I led with "everyday use." I've worn it a half dozen times, but now that winter has hit southwest Colorado, I expect it will become a staple piece in the coming months.

Thin and light sweater. Comfortable to wear .

Excellent piece of gear to keep on me during all seasons when temps dip down. I’m 6’2 210 and wear an XL Fits me slightly loose which I like, and the lightweight material makes it feel like I’m barely wearing anything

Last years was perfect. Amazing fit and comfort. I see this year you caved and added pockets and $40 USD to the price. Too bad. Last years was an excellent example of less being more.

I haven’t taken this off since I got it. Great mid layer, super comfortable, fits and looks great.

Ok, but significant downgrade from old one. *No hand pockets *Big patch on front makes it less versatile *New fabric is less durable vs. old one. Sometimes arcteryx product revisions are good. In this case, No-Go. Sad.

Amazing mid layer for skiing. Warm enough to wear over a tshirt around town too. Love the fabric and texture too.

I climb in this layer more than any other. Keeps me cool while climbing and retains heat at the belays. My number one pick for start-stop activities

Got this as a midlayer, but have also been using over a shirt while climbing in 0-5 °C. It's light and packs small enough that it lives in my bag even if I don't plan on using it. After a year of use only sign of wear is a tear from whipping into a tree.

Recently bought the 2022 model on the Outlet store, been wearing it almost daily since a couple of weeks and so far really happy with it. Great quality/value! Size fits perfectly, not too loose and not to trim. This works great as a mid-layer or stand-alone. I like that it is warm enough but yet very lightweight and packable. Ideal for technical activity, simply at home or even during a flight while travelling. The new outer layer is a nice touch in my opinion, just looks a bit fragile and I just hope it will be durable on the long term (I usually keep my Arcteryx stuff for at least a decade): something to possibly take into consideration if you have a dog that likes jumping at you for example. I don't mind not having the hand pockets anymore, not really an issue for me, and the thumb holes are quite useful when layering or simply adding a bit of warmth to your hands. Can't go wrong with the Delta!

Habe nur 4 Sterne gegeben, weil diesmal, anders als bei den früheren Delta LT Modellen, die Taschen an der Seite fehlen. Habe es aber behalten, weil Passform und Trageeigenschaften und die Langlebigkeit der beiden Vorgängermodelle mich immer wieder begeistern.

This jacket is lightweight, easily packable, and aesthetically pleasing for those who favor minimalist designs. Its standout feature, however, is its exceptional thermal control. I predominantly wore it during my 2-week trip to Iceland, and it exceeded expectations in temperatures ranging from 4°C to 17°C. Paired with just a medium-weight merino wool long sleeve as a base layer, I only needed to add a shell jacket in particularly strong wind and/or rain. Conversely, as the temperature climbed, the Delta showcased its impressive breathability and moist-wicking abilities. I only found the need to remove it when in direct sunlight or during the more strenuous parts of the hike. Despite its light fabric, the Delta proved surprisingly durable, ending the trip with just one small hole in the sleeve (entirely my fault). The fit is impeccable. However, it's worth noting that I have a very slender frame. Standing at 176 cm, I typically opt for XS or S sized garments. In the case of the Delta, XS was a perfect fit. One minor drawback: the chest pocket. For me, its placement and size are impractical, even for small items. It's certainly not suitable for larger objects like a cell phone.

J'ai la nouvelle delta depuis 4 mois. Elle est très agréable à porter mais je la trouve moins résistante que l'ancien modèle. Les coutures s'accrochent à tous ce qui traîne et elle s’abîme beaucoup plus vite sur le rocher. Je ne pense donc pas qu'elle ai la même durabilité que l'ancienne version.

I bought one a few years back and love it so much, I got a second one in a different color ;-) I wear it year round to keep warm or just to be confortable.

What an insanely fine jacket. I am a fan of the brand and I catch myself looking at Arcteryx's clothing really only lately. This jacket fits like a glove and you can use it in any season. What more could you want? :-) Hmmmm, to be hosest, maybe a bit more stock as some items run out very fast.
