Carrier 75 Duffle

This is a very solid duffle that will take just about any abuse you or baggage handlers can dish out. Duffles are about as simple a design as you can imagine so it's not like this one splits an atom. However I will say whoever thought of lining the interior with white fabric deserves a medal. No more hunting around in low light to find items that you were sure you packed! Brilliant! I like the handle placement with just enough places to grab it when you don't have it on your back. The padding on the straps look more than comfy enough when carrying a heavy load. The shoulder straps detach which for me was important as I plan to use this for airline travel. One small nit is the detach design. The top of the straps quickly unbuckle easy peasy but the bottom of the strap is a bit more tricky. If you have patience and time you can thread the entire strap (including the shoulder padding) through the small loop at the bottom of the lower strap. But if you are pressed for time (e.g. getting glares from the people behind you at the airline counter), a faster method is to unthread the lower strap from the ladder lock buckle and then you can quickly undo the bottom strap. It's a small nit but wanted to share... Note for the Arcteryx engineers: I might suggest enlarging the loop at the bottom of the lower trap. Just an inch would make the unthreading process **so** much easier... :)

Two expeditions in with this duffle and it looks brand new. Can stuff an incredible amount in there. Fits in the seat of a 407 helicopter pretty well. So burly and strong but not heavy. The best expedition duffle around.

Easy to travel with (I am 5'5" and had no issues loading it around the airport), straps are easy to remove for checked baggage, wide opening makes it efficient to pack an navigate contents, exterior and zippers are durable and inside is easy to wipe down.
