You ruined Atoms :(

Awful! Sent back. They have ruined their Atoms, which is very sad!
The fit is now not right. I was a bit tight in my old medium so sized up, but the large was HUGE and also very boxy/square. Medium is too tight. So neither fits or offers the nice slim fit they are famous for.
Also, having this side by side with my 2019 Atom LT highlighted a number of other negative changes. The new material feels more plasticky and the outer layer is less smooth/silky. The inside liner is also less soft/comfortable and feels more plasticky. The new blue is also light and looks cheap vs the old rich dark blue.
Overall the build quality has massively reduced and the sizing is less good. Felt like I had been ripped off paying the price for this jacket…so I returned mine and got a cheaper Rab Xenair Light instead which works better!

We understand how frustrating it must be when neither the medium nor large offers the slim, tailored fit you’ve come to expect, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience this caused while trying to find the right size. In terms of fabric, the latest Atom Hoody is updated with an FC0 DWR finish to help reduce environmental impact. While this change supports a lower footprint, we recognize it may feel different from previous versions in terms of texture and softness. As for color, our palettes do shift seasonally, and we understand that preferences can vary when comparing past and current tones. Favorite fit but actually really wimpy

I love this jacket for the fit, aesthetics and the functionality but the fabric is really wimpy for an outdoors type jacket. Don’t dare walk through brush or anything like it as it will snag and tear pretty easily. I’ve had many jackets and this is the wimpiest. But I’m on my second one! Use it for skiing and mid layer for hiking. If you want a do it all jacket don’t buy this.

Reduced Warmth!

This is my second Adam hoodie. The first had breathable panels just in the under arms. This new one, the panels run completely down the sides which significantly affects the warmth when worn alone.

Mon avis ne concerne ne pas le produit, mais le marketing… j’ai acheter ma veste à capuche à un prix de 360$ et le lendemain, je reçoit une offre de l’outil et de 270$ pour la même veste … j’ai demander le crédit via 2 courriels .aucune réponse ….

Defective fabric with little use

what is this effect that has occurred in an atom with little use?
Were I live is hot and it hasn't been used much, it's been treated well... I have another atom and this hasn't happened. I guess the fabric will be defective and they can replace my jacket.

Best mid layer insulation piece I have found, better than Patagonia Nano Puff and Micro Puff.
I wear the hoody outdoors and on weekends and the jacket to work and when I’m going to be outside to inside a lot. Only weather that challenges it is stiff sideways wind that cuts through side panels. But they’re also the feature that makes it so breathable and fit well.
Check out the new season of Terminal List Dark Wolf, the main character wears the older Black Sapphire color Atom Hoody throughout.

Durability issues

Very comfortable and looks great, let down by durability. Jacket developed wrinkling around neck area, raised service request and was told caused by facial hair which I don’t have. Promised a call back which I have had, after much chasing have now given up. I have multiple Arc’teryx products and are my favourite brand however this will be my last purchase. Not isolated issue please look at the reviews.
