Question 1

is this for cold weather? what temp range could you wear for running?

Rick, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thank you for your question. The Essent High-Rise Utility Legging 26" is designed primarily for running, hiking, and other high-output mountain activities in mild to cool conditions. Many guests find it best suited to spring, summer, and fall use due to its breathable fabric, moisture management, and ventilation features. While some may choose to wear it in colder weather, we do not rate our garments for specific temperatures, as comfort can vary significantly depending on activity level, weather conditions, layering, and individual preferences. For more information on dressing for different conditions, we recommend referring to our layering guide: https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/shop/layering-guide/. We hope this helps.

Question 2

Compression is Low-Medium or hight ?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Adriana, thanks for reaching out. We do not rate our leggings on a low, medium, or high compression scale. The Essent High-Rise Utility Leggings are designed to provide comfort and breathability during high-output activities rather than focusing on compression. To find the best fit, we recommend comparing your full body measurements to our size chart, as this will give you the most accurate guidance for a comfortable fit. If your measurements are between sizes, select a larger size for a looser fit or a smaller size for a tighter fit. We hope this helps!

Question 4

I'm interested in learning about washing and care instructions

River · Accepted Answer

Hello North, we recommend washing the Essent High-Rise Utility Legging 26" inside out on a gentle cycle with dark colours separately. Use a low setting for both washing and tumble drying. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, dry cleaning, and ironing. For best results, add your fleece garment to the wash alongside your GORE-TEX jacket using Arc’teryx Nu detergent to eliminate dirt, prevent odours, and ensure no residue is left behind. Visit our ReCARE page for more information on product care: https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/help/product-care/wash-dry-everything-else/
