Question 1

can it be used as a carry-on if you don’t fully pack it? Since the material looks pretty soft and flexible, I’m wondering if the empty parts can be rolled or compressed to save space and keep the bag within carry-on size limits. Thanks!

Joseph, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thank you for your question about the Carrier 75 Duffle. While the soft-sided construction allows the bag to compress somewhat when it is not fully packed, the Carrier 75 Duffle is significantly larger than the size typically permitted for carry-on luggage. We recommend checking with your airline directly, as carry-on size allowances can vary between carriers. If you are specifically looking for a travel bag that may be better suited to carry-on use, you may wish to consider the Carrier 40 Duffle, though we still recommend confirming the dimensions against your airline's requirements. We hope this helps.

Question 2

Does this duffel qualify for free repairs at Arcteryx stores?

Dante, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Caspar, thank you for reaching out and for your question regarding your Carrier 75 Duffle. At this time, backpacks and duffels are unfortunately not yet repairable through our Product Service Centre or Arc'teryx retail stores. We recognize the importance of repairability and are actively working toward offering more comprehensive repair solutions for packs in the future. That said, if your duffel requires replacement hardware, such as buckles, straps, or certain other components, our Product Service team may be able to assist. We encourage you to submit a Product Service Request with details of the issue and photos of the affected area for review: https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/help/product-service

Question 3

Is is possible to bring this bag on the plane - not as checked luggage

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Carrier 75 Duffle can absolutely be used for travel. That said, whether it can be brought on a plane as carry-on luggage will depend on your airline’s size restrictions. For reference, the dimensions are:

Length: 71.5cm
Width: 39.5cm
Depth: 29.0cm

We would recommend comparing these measurements with your airline’s carry-on policy to confirm if it will fit within their requirements. We hope this helps!

Question 4
