All you need to know about product reviews at Arc’teryx and how to share your own.
How reviews are collected, moderated, and published
Reviews are collected in two ways: through a post-purchase email invitation or directly on the product page. All submitted reviews are screened against our content guidelines before publication. Our moderation criteria apply equally to all reviews, regardless of whether the review is positive or negative. Reviews that meet our content guidelines are published.
Organic & Verified Reviews
These are reviews that are submitted from customers who have not been incentivised to leave a review. Some reviews are submitted by customers whose purchase we can confirm through our records. These reviews are clearly labeled “Verified Reviewer”. Reviews can also be submitted by customers who purchased the product elsewhere or received it as a gift. These reviews are not labeled "Verified Buyer" but are still welcome and subject to the same guidelines.
Incenvitised Reviews
From time to time, we may offer product samples, discounts or other incentives in exchange for a review. These reviews are clearly marked with “Entered into a draw” badge or a “product tester” badge. You can use our review filters to remove incentivised reviews from display if you like.
Arc’teryx Staff, Athletes, Ambassadors & Guides
These reviews are collected and badged to identify Arc’teryx affiliated members who may receive free or discounted products through our pro program. These reviews will be marked “Arc’teryx Athlete”, “Arc’teryx Ambassador” & “Arc’teryx Staff”. We also work with guide associations through our pro programs and these will be identified with their association badge and disclaimer such as ACMG, AMGA, BMG and VOBS.
How we display reviews
Please note that average review star rating takes into account both organic, incentivised and badged reviews and provides equal weighting to all types. The total score and count reflect all review content submitted by customers for the product.
Our reviews are displayed chronologically, meaning that you will see the latest reviews first. You have the option of choosing another sort order, for example by rating or by region.
There are at times when a product has been revised and we will carryover previous review content and identify such as “originally posted on XX”. All reviews are retained and displayed as long as the product is available. In 2025 in light of new regulatory updates we have added a disclaimer to any product model that requires this identifier due to material changes and the disclaimer shall read “ Reviews combine GORE-TEX epe and prior fabric models” or “Reviews combine FC0 and prior fabric models”. We retain reviews to help guide you to understand how a product performs, suitability for environments or activities and fit.
How to submit a review
You can submit product reviews on web or on our App as well as via the email request. For app and web simply head over to the product page and click “leave a review”. You will receive an email verification request which will allow us to process your review.
We value and will show all feedback, good or bad, as long as it is respectful and does not violate the Terms & Conditions or writing guidelines. Customers can select to rate a product from 1-5 and customers are asked to provide basic information such as their name, email address, review title and review. We love to hear more about the product including how it fits, how comfortable the product is and if you would recommend the product and provide optional rating scales for quick and easy submissions. You are also encouraged to share photos or videos as long as they do not violate our image guidelines.
Genuine, authentic and unbiased reviews are of the utmost importance at Arc’teryx, so we do everything we can to avoid false reviews. All reviews are subject to our terms of service and content guidelines therein. All reviews are reviewed through rigorous moderation standards and Arc’teryx will not feature content that is inappropriate, controversial, defamatory or offensive in language or visuals. Reviews containing competitor references, personally identifiable information or under-age reviewers will be rejected.
If a review you have submitted has been rejected, this may be because it violated our Terms of service. If you have any questions please contact our guest service team. Please note that all content is retained and feedback is shared across departments to improve customer experiences.
“Our Gear on You”
On our product pages, you may see a menu selection for “our gear on you”. This content is from customers and Arc’teryx partners who have tagged us on Instagram and provided their rights to the content.
How can you submit an image or video
It’s simple, tag @arcteryx on your Instagram post. You may receive a DM or comment on your content asking for your approval to use the image, all you need to do is reply with #yesArcteryx.

Arc’teryx reviews and approves all content prior to being shown on site. We do not feature anything that contains inappropriate, illegal or dangerous content, personally identifiable information, persons younger than 18 years old or competitor logos.
