Question 2

Como se limpian estas zapatillas?

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Question 3

What’s the heel to forefoot drop

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Norvan LD 4 Shoe features a drop of 6 mm. We hope this helps!

Question 4

Can the Norvan LD 4 Shoe Men's be used in spring and summer?

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Viviano, yes, the Norvan LD 4 is a great option for both spring and summer. Its breathable upper, responsive midsole, and long‑distance comfort make it well‑suited for warmer weather. If you’re heading into a wet or unpredictable spring, we’d recommend considering the GORE‑TEX version for added weather protection while still keeping the same ride and feel.

Question 5

At 75 years, I have arthritis in some joints. I love my Konseals for the rigid sole which limits joint flexibility (and pain.) Do the Norvan's have comparable rigidity?

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thank you for reaching out and for sharing how much the Konseals have supported you. We’re glad to hear they’ve been a comfortable option for managing joint pain. The Konseal and Norvan LD 4 are designed for very different purposes, so their underfoot feel won’t be comparable: the Konseal uses a stiffer, more supportive platform intended for approach use, which naturally limits flex, while the Norvan LD 4 is built for long‑distance trail running, making it lighter, more cushioned, and more flexible to support natural movement. Because of that, it won’t offer the same rigidity you’re used to in the Konseal. You’re absolutely welcome to order the Norvan LD 4 and try them at home, and if they don’t provide the stability you need, you can return them within 30 days as long as they’re still in new condition. We hope this helps you find the best fit for your comfort.

Question 6

Are the slip resistant oil wet surfaces

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Kirby, thanks for reaching out. The Norvan LD 4 Shoe is designed as an adaptable, long-distance shoe for confidence on training and adventure runs. While the Vibram Megagrip sole offers reliable traction across a variety of surfaces and conditions, the shoe has not been formally tested or certified as anti-slip or slip-resistant. We hope this helps!

Question 7

Are these shoes good for running in the winter such as snow, slush and possibly some ice?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Noah, thanks for reaching out. The Norvan LD 4 Shoe does not feature GORE-TEX, so it would not be the best option for winter conditions with snow and slush. For cold-weather running, we recommend the Norvan 4 Nivalis GTX Shoe. It takes the stable, adaptable Norvan and adds winter-ready protection such as a GORE-TEX invisible upper, a Vibram Megagrip outsole, and an over-ankle gaiter that helps seal out snow, water, and debris. We hope this helps!

Question 8

Do these shoes have a wide toe box? I normally wear Altra and Topo sneakers and Lem's, Vivo barefoot and similar shoes with a wide toe box. How do these compare?

Helio · Accepted Answer

Hi Larry, thank you for reaching out! The Norval LD 4 Shoe features a Comfort Fit design, offering extra room in the toe area and a more relaxed fit throughout the foot. All of our footwear features a standard D width. We can’t directly compare our shoes to other brands, as fit and feel can vary based on design and individual preferences. For the best experience, we recommend reviewing our footwear sizing chart. We hope this helps!

Question 9

I have plantar fiscaist, is it good for that

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Norvan LD 4 Shoe is designed for comfort and support during long-distance runs and features a 6 mm drop. That said, it is not specifically designed to address plantar fasciitis. We recommend consulting a medical or footwear specialist to find the best option for your needs. We hope this helps!

Question 10

Ich habe sehr breite Füsse, nutze Vivobarefoot in Grösse 44. Inov8 wide in Grösse 45.
welche Grösse wäre beim Norvan LD4 zu bevorzugen?

River · Accepted Answer
