This beanie is awesome. For all the people who are complaining about pilling of the material, you can buy a fabric shaver for like $12 on amazon. They work on coats, beanies all kinds of stuff. I've had $100 designer beanies pill up, they all do it at some point.

This is the perfect mix of fashion and functionality. It's a super warm beanie I've worn walking around my campus as well as on winter hikes and even ski trips. I love the look and the colors are gorgeous!

Great Look, Poor Quality

The style is great. However, the quality is disappointing. If I pay $55 for a hat, I wouldn't expect it to start losing threads and pilling after just a few wears. It seems like a common issue looking at the other reviewers' comments.

its amazing how in one month the price went from $50 to $70 and people are still saying the quality sucks. Arcteryx is running a scam here

Poor quality

Loose threads and pilling started showing only after a few wears. And I only wore it to and from the ski resorts, I always take it off when I put on my helmet. My friend thought I’ve been wearing it for months....after wearing it for longer period of time, I find that it started to lose it’s shape too. It’s become quite loose and the fold of the rim wouldn’t stay nicely. The design looks great, but the quality is quite poor for this price. My $50 beanie took a much worse beating and still looks brand new.

Less than a week of wear and it’s already piling. Not impressed for the price I paid for. This is the first product that has disappointed me from arcteryx. Please do better

Good looking winter hat (grotto) but not durable.

I own about a dozen Arcteryx beanies and toques and they have all held up great: washing machine and all.
I bought this toque in Grotto for my wife and it went into the wash and literally came apart.

Very poor quality

Got this as a gift and after the first wear I noticed loose threads already coming from the beanie. Didn't snag it on anything so I was shocked. For a $70 beanie I was not expecting this poor quality. I've owned a Grotto toque from 2019, it was less expensive back then and better quality. I also tried to get it warrantied but they said they couldn't do anything to replace it. Do not buy!

Very poor quality, yet expensive.

I am super disappointed with this toque. I finally decided to get one and I cannot believe how bad it looks after only a few times wearing it. The material is comfortable but, it is fraying and falling apart in less than a week.
This is a lot of money to ask for a toque. I would certainly not recommend it.

It was my first purchase on this website, and I don't think I'll make any more. The quality is really poor; after just a few days of normal use, lint appeared, and after two weeks, the fabric started to unravel. Really bad product!

After my complaint, I was told that I could choose a hat of equal or lesser value to this product. I requested the new product several times, but I have never received anything. This situation has never happened to me with any other website; a simple discount voucher would have sufficed, but it was denied to me. Low quality and inefficiency of customer service. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS WEBSITE ANYMORE

Bought this after years of hearing hype…for $70 I am incredibly disappointed. What is this material? It pills and within a few weeks there were dozens of threads coming undone. I usually love Arcteryx pieces but I think this beanie is only worth it if you are buying cheap second hand. Incredibly disappointing quality.

I bought this beanie this year and it’s to say I will never have to buy another one. It is one of the most comfortable and warmest beanies I’ve ever owned. I would recommend this for anyone.
