Hello there, since the Beta Down Jacket combines both GORE-TEX and Down fabrics, play to the gear’s more sensitive side: Follow the Wash + Dry instructions for Down and use the Nu Down Detergent. Once your garment is clean and dry, test its water repellency by spraying it with a little water to see if the drops slide off the material. If the water drops don't bead on the jacket, reapply DWR (Nu Durable Water Repellent). If I want to clean my atom LT jacket, should I use the down detergent or the technical detergent?

You can also utilize the Nu Durable Water Repellent to reapply DWR if needed after your wash. How to Wash:
Step 1: Prepare for washing
 • Close the main pit zippers.
 • Open pocket zippers.
 • Release tension on all elastic drawcords.
 • Loosen and re-secure the velcro cuffs. 

Step 2: Wash and rinse
 • Put your garment in the machine and add cleaning agent as indicated on bottle. 
 • Wash on medium cycle heat (40C/104F) at permanent press or gentle cycle setting. 
 • Use a second rinse cycle to remove any residual soap. 

How to Dry:
Step 1: Choose Medium Heat
 • Place your damp garment in the dryer on medium heat for 40 - 50 minutes, this will reactivate the DWR. 

Step 2: Re-apply DWR if needed
 • Test your clean and dry garment with a light spray to see if water beeds off the surface. If water is not beading off your GORE-TEX, apply DWR treatment at this point.
