Question 1

Is there any way to use a Camelback with this? It's hard to tell from the images if there's any pouch for one, or a way to run the tube out.

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Kyle, thanks for reaching out. The Patrol Vest does not include an attachment for a hydration bladder and does not have a dedicated opening for routing a tube. We hope this helps!

Question 2

Hello! What volume is the backpack part? 16L? 20L?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi Candice, thank you for your question! The backpack portion of the Patrol Vest is approximately 12L in size. We hope this helps.

Question 3

Hey! Is there any information on the length of the vest? I am 5'0" and petite and would be using this for ski patrol. I can't find any information on length and am concerned if its long it will impact my skiing. I would be getting a Small.

Read through the reviews regarding tight radio fit; are there any pocket(s) that will accommodate a BKR5000?

River · Accepted Answer

Hello there, the Patrol Vest front pocket configuration is designed to provide easy access to standard-issue radios like the BKR5000. If you have specific concerns about the fit, we recommend testing it out to ensure it meets your needs.

Question 5

Is the backpack section removable?

River · Accepted Answer

Hello there, the backpack is integrated with the vest as a single piece and is not removable.

Question 7

Reading the reviews and questions it seems this vest fits quite large - should I size down? I am 5' 7" 160 and wear a medium arc jacket for patrol. According to the size chart I should get a medium but I don't want it to be swinging around too much

Question 10

I'm looking fo something similar to this with just a bit more cargo room. I need to carry food and water for a week along with a small shelter system while working a ways away from air support. Do you have anything?

Alpine Rescue Team · Accepted Answer

Buy a backpack! That vest has an enormous amount of storage and using it like a backpack would create balance issues. I use it mainly for SAR while driving a snowmobile and it's wonderful.
