Question 1

Is this waterproof or repelent?

Rick, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Sofia, thank you for your question. The Heliad Crossbody Bag is not waterproof. It features a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that helps shed light moisture and light rain, but it is not designed to provide full waterproof protection in prolonged or heavy wet conditions. We hope this helps.

Question 2

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Question 3

Would really like pictures of the inside!

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. We understand how helpful it can be to see the inside of a product when deciding whether it is the right option for you. We appreciate you sharing this feedback and will pass your request for additional interior photos along to our team for future consideration. We hope this helps!

Question 4

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Question 5

Size of bag cross body, picture of inside please thanks

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question. The Heliad Crossbody Bag has the following dimensions:

Length: 25cm
Width: 17.5cm
Depth: 9cm
Volume: 2.5L

At this time, we don't have clear interior photos available to share. We understand that seeing the inside of the bag can be helpful for understanding its organization and storage capacity, and we'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our team for future consideration.

Question 6

Do the numbers after the product name for bags represent the capacity? Why does this product have the number 6, but the capacity is only 2.5L?

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question. For Arc’teryx packs, the number in the product name refers to the volume in liters (like a 20L or 40L backpack). Smaller everyday bags, such as crossbody bags or waist packs, don’t always follow this naming pattern. In those cases, the product name may include a number that doesn’t reflect volume. The actual capacity is always listed in the product details, so for the Heliad Crossbody Bag, the correct volume is 2.5L.

Question 7

Is it waterproof or resistant? I am looking for something for the Vancouver rain!

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi Chris, great question! This bag is finished with a durable water repellent (DWR FC0) treatment and a silicone coating, so it sheds light rain and offers solid everyday protection. It’s water‑resistant rather than fully waterproof, meaning it will handle typical showers but isn’t designed for heavy or prolonged downpours. We hope this information helps!

Question 8

Can it fit. iPad mini?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for your question! Based on the measurements, the iPad Mini (6th generation) should fit comfortably inside the Heliad Crossbody Bag. The bag measures 25 cm in length, 17.5 cm in width, and 9 cm in depth, while the iPad Mini is 19.54 cm tall, 13.48 cm wide, and 0.63 cm thick. We hope this helps!

Question 9

Question 10

How wide is the strap?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hello, thanks for your question. The strap measures 5/8 of an inch. We hope this helps!
