I love the Mantis 2 bag!

I love love my new Mantis 2 bag. I carry it as a cross body or on my shoulder. It has a perfect amount of room for a wallet and other necessities. What I love the most is the cell phone pocket you don’t have to open the bag to use and It fits snug enough it won’t fall out. The bag has strong zippers and the material seems it will last a long time.

Best bag. Ever.

Brought this for my trip to Cancun, I was pleasantly surprised to see this small bag can carry so much stuff. Love the inside hidden compartments so I can hide my cash, passport and jewelry. The padding material really helped and comfortable on my skin (no rubbing!). The outside narrow compartments (where the strap ends) is perfect for storing my sunglass! Whoever designed this bag is a genius!

Great bag, sturdy, and looks great. I like the thin strap. A bit smaller than I expected but that’s on me for not reading the website properly.

Good but can be much better

Please add a attachment point on the bottom of the bag so it becomes usable in higher output activities and biking. With the narrow strap it just flies around too much. An attachment loop on the botttom would allow you to add a stabilizer strap which is something I would expect from a performance oriented brand - even though this item is not specifically performance output designed. Same goes for the mantis 1. Bonus points if the strap is made to be removable!

Perfect lightweight carry

I purchased one at an Arcteryx store that was in Covent Garden, London a couple of years ago. The sling bag is perfect for light daily carries and for vacations.
Apart from having a roomy main compartment and a smaller one at the front, It has a slip pocket on the padded rear side that can carry a mobile for easy access. The slip pocket will also hold my Pro Max iPhone which has a Bellroy case fitted with a detachable credit card pocket.
The bag is ideal.

My favorite bag

I use this bag everyday since receiving it three months ago. It’s the best size and shape for comfortable, functional, everyday carry. The phone pocket is genius. It fits my iPhone 14 perfectly. I wasn’t sure about the divider pocket in the main compartment at first, but now I like that I can separate my card wallet, paper money, and coupons from my ear buds, Badger balm, tissues, and sunglasses. I appreciate the back wall zipper compartment for meds, bandaids, eye drops, etc. And the key leash. I just wish it weren’t attached inside that zippered compartment. The front pocket is great for hand sanitizer, cough drops, gum, and lip balm. I wear this crossbody even when driving. I do wish the strap was a few inches longer and an inch or so wider. This bag is small, but large enough to accommodate a wider strap for comfort. I now own two of these and gave one as a gift. Recipient loved it.
