I am genuinely wondering how you can officially classify issues after just two weeks of use as "normal wear and tear" (assuming the customer's information is correct). Does this imply that Arc'teryx is compromising on durability despite the high price? Is the brand now leaning toward a luxury position rather than focusing on professional and functional lines?
I'm currently on the fence about purchasing your products, and I need your response to make my decision.

Hope this review reaches out people who needs this kinda jacket in a cold weather.
It keeps warmth well, as that is this kinda jacket's supposed to but,
If your body gets warm quickly, and if you are a sweaty and active person, I really don't recommend this cuz it does not BREATH a single air.
Inside the jacket all the moist is collected, I have never had any jacket like this. The inner material, I don't know if it's waterproof from the inside or what, but it keeps all the water from your body. So any inner will get wet and you can literally wipe water out from the inside of the jacket. It I have to say is a failure of material choice for the inside of such jacket really.
Tried it on in different tempretures, result came out same.
in cold weather and for outdoor activity, it's a dangerous jacket I have to say,
cus all the moist will be collected on the surface of the inside of the jacket, which will make your inner wet and freeze as soon as you're done with your activity.
Correct me if this jacket has a certain purpose

Faulty Product and Customer Service

Arc’teryx Customer Service is awful. I purchased the jacket and the product started ripping and tearing within a month. I contacted customer service numerous times and they show little willingness to actually honor product quality standards and warranty expectations. Offered patching tape for this premium priced jacket. I will be shopping elsewhere.

Stellar Down Garment

I've had the Cerium for a little over two years now and I've been delighted with its performance and durability. I've worn this jacket for many days of climbing down in Joshua Tree, cold nights around Moab, and as a post surf layer for chilly norcal sessions. It has kept me remarkably warm and hasn't shown any signs of wearing down. Having put this jacket through the wringer, I would've expected to have a couple tears here or there with how lightweight it is, but shockingly I haven't had any issues. The outer fabric has shown itself to be quite durable, which is not always the case for lightweight down jackets.
With it being down, it is super packable and light. I find that I can jam this inside my helmet in my climbing pack and barely lose any space. With a jacket of this warmth (850 fill) it feels pretty low profile (not super bulky and Michelin man like) which is great for layering and functionality.
Overall, this has been one of the best down jackets I've owned. I wear a small in the Atom jackets but found that the medium fits me best for the Cerium. Highly recommend!

I bought this jacket last winter and wore it all winter. For Vancouver, this jacket is just right as the outer layer.
The hood is too big for me, even with an adjuster. The hood blocks my view when I turn my head. Obviously, this hood is designed to be compatible with helmets, but it loses the comfort in most situations.

Faites attention à un défaut grave de la fermeture éclair principale, dans mon cas la fermeture éclair ne fonctionne plus après une seule saison d'utilisation, après avoir communiqué avec le service client, ils proposent de remplacer la fermeture éclair par une couleur qui n'a rien à voir avec la couleur d'origine, cela change donc complètement l'original. Look de la veste.
Conclusion un mauvais produit ne mérite pas le prix de 500$, et un très mauvais service client, je n'achète plus jamais de produit Arctryx.

Love this product. It's a staple in my backcountry kit. I take it as my emergency layer that adds comfort and support if you have to wait around when the clouds roll in or wind picks up. It's packable and light, yet has amazing warmth.

Warm Jacket zip is not robust enough

This Jacket is not too bad its fairly warm but the zip is of a surprisingly low quality. I understand that this is designed to be worn as a midlayer so needs a softer less meaty zip but I think this zip is just too light to be appropriate for the jacket.

Great warmth to weight ratio. Used it on many alpine climbs in the winter in the Alps and always appreciated how small it packed in the backpack.

Jacket ripped within 2 weeks. Cheap zipper. Poor quality. DO NOT BUY! This company does not stand by their cheap products. They did not replace. Seriously. They lost thousands as I own several businesses. They cut their nose to spite their face. Stupid management.

Un duvet à la hauteur

J'ai toujours un peu moins aimé les duvet de part leur look "coussiné". Je préfère le look de la série Nuclei qui est synthétique. Mais, les nouvelles couleurs sont vraiment belles et l'efficacité du Cerium est imbattable pour le poids et la grosseur. Bref, c'est une veste à avoir pour les temps froids à mettre sous un shell.
La coupe est un peu étrange par contre. Un peu large au corps, mais les manches sont plus courtes et la longueur est aussi plus courte que les autres vestes Arcteryx.
