Question 1

Do you have a ladies jacket that matches these? There is a men’s one but can’t seem to find a ladies one.

Luna · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question and for checking out the Fission SV Mitten! Right now, the Fission jacket only comes in men’s, and we haven’t heard of any updates coming for a women’s version. That said, although the Fission SV Mitten is part of the broader Fission line, it can be paired with a wide range of women’s shell jackets. If you’re shopping for a women’s insulated jacket for snowsports, the Sentinel Insulated Jacket or the Andessa Down Insulated Jacket would be great options. The Sentinel Insulated uses synthetic insulation and offers a lighter warmth compared to the down‑insulated Andessa. Both styles include snowsport‑specific features and patterning designed for mobility and comfort. We hope this helps!

Question 3

Can a wrist guard fit underneath the fission sv mitten? I normally wear medium but I wasn't sure about the sizing. I don't know if I can get a medium or size large. I want to have room for the wrist guard.

Luna · Accepted Answer

Hi Jaydrian, thank you so much for your question and for checking out the Fission SV Mitten! Fit can definitely be tricky when you’re planning to wear wrist guards underneath, so you’re right to double‑check. Generally, if you are looking for a bit more room to wear a wrist guard, sizing up from your usual size (in your case, from Medium to Large) is a good idea. You are also welcome to place an order for both sizes to try at home, and return the size that does not fit. We offer free returns within 30 days of purchase and delivery, and you can start the process anytime through our returns page: https://arcteryx.com/us/en/help/returns. We hope this helps!

Question 4

How can I tell if my mitten is the revised version? I just purchased at one of your stores and all of the labeling and interior tags indicate PrimaLoft and not CoreLoft…

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. To confirm whether you have the revised version of the Fission SV Mitten, please check the model number on the product tag. If it matches X000009940 (the model number listed on this product page), then you do indeed have the revised version. Please note that Coreloft and Primaloft refer to the same synthetic insulation. Coreloft is the customer-facing name we use to describe our in-house synthetic insulation. You may sometimes see PrimaLoft referenced on interior tags, as this name is used in technical and manufacturing documentation. However, rest assured that the presence of Primaloft on the interior label does not explicitly indicate an older or different version of the mittens. We hope this helps!
