Not really sure why Arcteryx keeps changing stuff

Not really sure why Arcteryx keeps changing stuff that people love.
I have Cormac shirts that are over 5 years old and still going strong. Fit was great, material was great. The last one I got the sleeves where really long, I see they revised it with shorter sleeves.
Can someone let me know how the fit is, is a small still like a medium?

Best layers for the summer time. Love the updated version. Dad saw me wear them and needed his size in black and tatsu. Versatile shirt with a lot of use cases. Sometimes even work out at the gym with them.

perfect Tech tee

one of the greatest tech tee i've ever seen. wish arm lenght was a bit shorter though, and that you could offer more nicer natural colors. the EU price is prohibitiv. it's just too much even for the greatest T shirt!

Weird new sizing system

I bought this t-shirt according to the new sizing chart (why go against everyone else's sizing). A 44 is now a large, not an XL like everyone else. But it isn't, or it didn't feel like it when on. Why confuse people with this new system? Actually a large is now a 43 and an xl is a 47 so the gap between them is now 4 inches as opposed to everyone else having a 2-inch gap. On top of it not fitting, it is super clingy so unless you have the flattest of flat bellies you might not be comfortable with it.
I am a big fan of Arcteryx, but this weird new sizing system and the madness that is their colour descriptions are going to annoy a few. Can we just have grey as opposed to 'boxcar', etc.? What about the colour-blind people who need a bit of guidance? Grumble over with.

High performance with a minor flaw

The fabric is lightweight and soft. Definitely a tier above your standard performance t-shirts. Like the other reviews mentioned, the sleeves are slightly longer and I really enjoy that. It gives this shirt a slightly more casual look. The reason for the four stars and not five is because of the way it is cut. I climb in this shirt and when I raise my arms, the shirt goes up with them and also folds awkwardly around the chest area. I have to adjust it every time I bring my arms down. Apart from that, the moisture wicking and breathability is incredible. Unmatched in those areas

The older version with Ostria fabric wicks sweat so much better than this new version with Phasic fabric. Please bring it back. I don't know what I'm going to do when my old shirts eventually wear out..

This is the ONLY shirt I wear.
Unfortunately, I need to purchase about 15 of them right now, and I only wear black. This shirt used to come in black, but this color was removed for some reason?
Bring black back please!
Also, somewhat difficult to find a retailer in Hawai'i that carries the brand.

Light, breathable and good for those warm days

This is my go to shirt if I know I'll be breaking a sweat. I've used this on the warmer days and the material is highly breathable and allows the breeze to cool me down - As expected. I don't have any issues with the material being smelly after a sweaty day. But just like any synthetic material, I'm only using this for the day.
Fit is good across the chest, back and arm, although I do find this runs a bit long so something to keep in mind for the shorter torso person - I can see this being handy if you're worried about it riding up.
Overall, great quality, high output shirt - very lightweight and great for those warmer days. Or in the gym.

The new fit is very comfortable for me. Although it is indeed more form-fitting than the previous version, if you wear a size S or XS, you'll find it even more flattering. It's a perfect T-shirt for summer workouts.

Great if you like a loose fit

Echoing what a lot of the reviews have said, expect that the size L is going to fit on the bigger side (especially compared with the size L in the Norvan SS shirt which fits small). I prefer a baggy fit and longer sleeves for trail running, so the L was perfect. Fabric is comfy, providing a good combination of warmth and breathability. The only downside is that they seem to retain odours more than other fabrics, even after washing.

The Cormac SS tee is one of my most used pieces of kit. It's rare if I'm not wearing this on a trail run or backpacking trip. Truly the golden standard for a comfortable, well fitting technical tee. I like the new revised cut, it feels a little looser which I find helps it ventilate more on hard runs or hot hikes.

I think you guys need to have a look at the jump in measurements between you medium and large sizes. The neck size on large is also annoyingly big on number of arc products.

The new weave and material provides a stretch where required and doesn't stick to the skin as much when wet. reduced lots of chaffing chances when on high output activities or when carrying a pack. Great moisture wick and light weight to not feel you’re wearing a top.

Please bring back the old model prior to this revision. I tried the new version of this shirt out and it’s certainly a downgrade in both quality and sizing. I have five of the older version which are starting to show their age. I am looking to replace and unfortunately have to look elsewhere.

Thank you so much for the honest feedback. I’m in the exact same situation, about to buy 7 new T’s.
I feared the SS “revised” suffered the same faith as the “revised” Arc fleece Kyanite, that USED to be the market leader everybody else where comparing up against - now it’s the other way around with the T’s as well. Truly a bitter one to watch, the Chinese cooperate “turn around” strategy, wasn’t just a hik up - but a full scale implementation.

Pretty good athletic shirt, using it for runs and track right now. A size large was huge on me (I normally wear a men's large), so I went with the medium which does fit a little tighter than I would have liked.

Maybe bad for atheltes with strong lats muscles

I sometimes do bouldering and scrambling when hiking. Therefore, I have relatively strong lats muscles. With this T-shirt, I felt constraint/very tight on my back.
The design may be not good for athelets with strong lats muscles. Quality is always good tho.
