Perfect size for all your essentials!

These bags are a staple in our family. We take them pretty much everywhere and use them as a sling bag or around the waist. They perfectly hold your phone, snacks, sunscreen, etc. We use them for all of our pet supplies on the trail, on the skin track, paired with a minimalist backpack for easy access to the goods, while traveling, etc. 10/10 recommend.

Bought in white (don’t recommend that color) and loved it so much. When it came into stock again I bought both the black and blue versions. The amount of pockets and compartments is perfect for on the go.

Who needs a backpack?

Coming from the Mantis 1 the Mantis 2 was a welcomed addition. Its size took me a few days to get used to, however this thing holds almost as much as a small backpack for day trips and hikes. I was pleasantly surprised that my full sized iPhone with a case fit snug but not incredibly tight in the rear (padded vertical) pocket. This completely freeing up the inside for goodies. I was able to fit a perfect mix of tech and accessories (gloves and beanie) in the Mantis 2 with room to spare. When compared to other similar sized bags the Mantis 2 does have more of a wide body (longer vertically) than the slimmer profile of its competitors. However this longer wider body is what accommodates the iPhone to rest perfectly in the rear padded pocket. I'll continue to utilize the Mantis 1 for errands, and trips to the grocery store. However the Mantis 2 has already found its place for day trips, hikes, and outdoor activities. The revised Mantis 2 also has a slimmer strap than the 2021 version. Overall 5/5

Love the extra features including key chain clip and inside zip pocket. I wear it as a cross body bag. It’s very durable. It’s my go to travel bag.

Parfait pour les voyages quotidiens. L'arrière du sac dispose d'une poche pour un téléphone portable et d'une conception multicouche pour protéger le contenu . La première petite poche est munie d'un crochet et d'une boucle pour empêcher les objets de tomber . Le dos du sac est fait de mousse en filet, ce qui est très confortable . It’s really great, really the only issue is the strap. If the strap did not have the rough edges and ends at attachment and cinch sites it would be perfect. In my attempts at alleviating the sharp parts against my tops with electricians tape, many of my expensive shirts have been victim to the pulls. Word to the wise, if you buy this examine all edges! Over passed couple weeks since receiving I have added more and more tape. I really should give the purse up and likely will for my older safer ones. I love Arc’teryx and this purse minus this issue and having to add tape.

I had the same issue. The back of the bag caused abrasion on my two Lulu Lemon Jackets and one expensive dress on the waist area after having the waistpack on for several hours.

Bought this two months ago to go travelling with: so far it’s been to 4 countries with hiking, rough weather, nights out, airport checks… just EVERYTHING and is in perfect condition still. Loads of great space, can store so much in there- it’s really thoughtful. The phone pocket, the clip for keys/wallet, the strap length. Plus it looks stylish and goes with anything. Also ran it through the washing machine and dryer and it came out fine. Fabulous quality and a great price from a great company.

Best cross body bag ever

This little bag is mighty.
Mantis2 can fit my wallet, car keys, sunglasses, water bottle, and some medicine/toiletries.
Perfect for everyday running errands, or while traveling.
With covid/crime, I am hesitant to carry luxury leather goods (stolen/hand sanitizers), this bag has been my go to bag for the past 3+ years.

I waited forever until this came back in stock, when it did I nabbed one. Absolutely the most versatile little bag. I used it for travelling, hiking and everyday use. It’s easy to switch from waistbag to cross body. Everyone asks me where I got it. I have the 1 L size also and use them both extensively.

I bought one about 4 years ago and it lasted until last week, when the zipper finally gave up. Luckily, I had another to replace it. I recommend this handy and sturdy little bag for everything from hiking to everyday use as a purse.

I’ve been using the bag for the past 3 months daily and I can happily attest the functionality and durability of the bag. I ended up buying 2 more in different colors.

I bought this bag to use as my everyday purse. I already own the Mantis !, but I needed a larger bag as well. The Mantis 2 waistpack is perfect. Large enough to hold my larger wallet. Same easy access to phone as the Mantis 1. I am so glad I have both.

I bought this as a bag/purse to be used daily and for extended walks/hiking. It has been with me through Europe and walking a Camino in Spain. After three years, and daily use the zipper is beginning to fray at the zipper (because it is full), so I am going to buy another. Love this bag!!

I own a few of these and I use them for so many things! I like to have one for evening mtb rides- no problem fitting a shell, phone and tools in it. It is also the best thing for to keep your hands free on short hikes and nature walks - with plenty of room to pack snacks and items you need. For travel I have used it to keep essentials like my passport and wallet handy... As a new mom it was my mini diaper bag- I did so much hiking with my kid in the carrier on my front and back. I kept it stocked with wipes, diapers and of course snacks- It allowed me to always have what I needed but I didn't have to carry a big ugly diaper bag around everywhere I went!

I just got this a few days ago and I absolutely love it! It’s small but has tons of room! I bought it for my phone keys tissue hand sanitizer! I work at a school and we go hiking with the kids so it’s nice to be able to bring a few things along.

I bought this earlier this month to replace my much smaller Patagonia fanny pack. The Mantis 2 is roomy without looking ridiculous. I carry my phone, sunglasses, eye drops, wallet, keys and still have room for loose change.
