I bought this jacket to wear for hiking. Nonetheless I’m wearing it all the time. Literally, the best jacket I ever bought. Suitable for many weather circumstances, also ideally as mid layer. Highly recommended!!!!

Excellent fit and build

Bought this for my girlfriend 3 months ago and now that the temperatures are dropping she wears it all the time. The build quality, warmth to weight ratio and the fit are top notch and I am considering getting one for myself too. Highly recommend

Most useful all around awesome jacket in my closet

One of the first Arcteryx items I bought and I love it. Great as my mid layer while resort skiing and perfect to put on for warmth after an ascent. Super light and packs down making it easy to carry. Highly recommend!!

Not suitable for cold weather

The purple color is very beautiful and the reason I am keeping it is because of its color! However, the material is not thick and limits its use to early fall or late spring. I cannot imagine to wear this in winter or any cold weather. I ordered Large and Xlarge and at the end I kept the XL. The sizing is not good. The large one was tight on bust and good on waist. The XL was good on bust but too big on waist. So, if you have large bust size, I recommend going one size big but at the same time it will be big in waist. I wish Arcteryx jackets were a little bigger in bust area since I have the same issue with their Beta AR series.

J’ai acheté ma première atom lt en 2017, me voici rendu a ma deuxième en 2023. J’adore cette veste, elle est super pour faire du sport, moi c’est la raquette. Elle sèche rapidement, elle respire des côtés. Malgré son apparence mince, elle est quand même assez chaude pour nos hivers Québécois. Je la recommande.
J’ai enlever une étoile sur mon évaluation pour la longueur de la veste. Je mesure 5pi 1po et je porte du small. Le modèle 2023 est un peu trop long et il est fait beaucoup plus grand que les années antérieures.

I love this jacket! It's so flattering and allows a great amount of movement. There are very few jackets I can play softball in because they are usually too restricting but not this jacket. It's very temperature regulating whether it's a mild or colder day. The perfect jacket for everything!

Very versatile

I use this jacket for all my outdoor pursuits. From cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing to hiking and backcountry camping and around town walking my dog and running errands. This jacket is lightweight for the warmth that it procures. I can be totally drenched in sweat and still feel dry and warm and not know about it until I stop moving. It wicks moisture very well. It is my favourite jacket when doing very active activity. I find my new one is bigger in the torso and the hood is almost too big when not using a helmet. I should have taken a size down.

I have owned my Atom Hoody almost an entire year now and have truly put it through the wringer on alpine ascents and mountain adventures. It’s my go-to layer for everything — couloir climbs, technical scrambles, trail runs, and even chill lower elevation hikes. It’s breathable and warm, and even has wind protection above treeline. It’s the supreme layer.

I pulled this out when it unexpectedly started raining in the mountains. Kept me warm and dry in 40 degree weather with a light rain during a hike. Great breathability. I never overheated. Has good roominess for a warm layer underneath. I am thrilled with it.

I've tried to previous model of the Atom Hoody and that one felt way too fitted. It was too tight around the chest area and couldn't move my arms around. With THIS current model, it feels a lot better to wear over all. I don't have to go up a size, fits well around the chest and can move my arms around with no resistance. Also, the insulation is great and I know I can count on it to keep me warm this coming Fall/ Winter.

I bought this jacket a couple months ago and haven’t had many chances to wear it. But I made use of it when I got caught in a rain storm while camping! It kept me completely dry and super warm. It’s not technically built for rain but it gets the job done when needed! I went with a large so I’d be able to layer it and it’s the perfect size for me!

I bought this item originally just for warmth. It's incredibly compact (only took up 1/6 of one side of my carry on!!) and I bought it on my trip in Europe - it saved me in cold weather in Iceland. I love the white color and also wear it at night on backpacking trips!

I have two Atom Hoodies in different colours that were purchased back when they were still called the Atom LT Hoody. I've worn them a lot and even machine wash them on cold / delicate cycle and they have held up very well!
