Cancelling an order is the last thing we want to do, but it may be necessary due to some of these common reasons.

• The item is out of stock
• Discrepancy in billing information
• Policy breach*

In the event your order is cancelled, you will not be charged, and any charges pending will be cancelled as well.

Online and in-store purchases are not eligible for price adjustments.

An account is not required to place an order. You can check-out as a Guest, but setting up an account provides easy access to your order, faster returns, as well as quicker check-out next time.

We cannot cancel or alter your order once it is placed. If you wish to initiate a return, please wait until you receive the shipment then head to our Returns and Refunds page.

Items cannot be added to an existing order that has been confirmed. Your order is confirmed once you have completed the checkout stage and sent a confirmation number. If you would like to order additional items, you are welcome to place a new order online.

Arc'teryx products are available directly through our website or from specialty outdoor clothing and equipment retailers around the globe – including our own brand stores.

Our product pages will let you know if the item is an online exclusive or if it’s available at a nearby Arc’teryx brand store. You can also use our Find a Store feature to see the closest location where the item is sold.

Arc’teryx is committed to reducing our impact on the planet, setting ambitious Science-Based Targets and working towards a circular economy. This means reducing waste and use of excess materials. To this end, we recently made the decision to remove Arc’teryx stickers from online orders, in line with our climate impact goals and ongoing commitment to sustainability.

Although our WaterTight™ zippers are highly water resistant, they are not fully waterproof. Pockets constructed using waterproof fabrics may collect water if they are opened or accessed during wet or snowy conditions.

We strongly recommend that you keep any fragile or electronic devices in a sealable plastic bag inside an internal pocket. We do not recommend keeping items in your pockets that may be damaged by moisture. Arc'teryx is not responsible for any damage to electronic devices or personal equipment.

PFAS stands for per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances. PFAS is the umbrella term for a family of chemicals that have historically been used for a wide variety of purposes, including waterproofing, in the outdoor industry.

Arc’teryx is committed to ensuring our products comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We’re working to remove intentionally added PFAS from the entire Arc’teryx product line by the end of 2025, transitioning to our newest GORE-TEX material with an ePE membrane that keeps you dry without PFAS. Learn more.

The PFAS-free, new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before.

Both versions effectively repel water, however, the new FC0 DWR doesn’t withstand oil contamination quite as effectively – this means that PFAS-free products need a little more care to perform at their best. If you notice the fabric wetting out faster than you’d like, simply wash and dry your garment to bring the DWR back to its full power.

If you've received a message at our checkout saying your credit card information is unable to be verified, you may need to:

A pending or pre-authorized transaction is a recent transaction that you've made with your credit card that has not yet been fully processed. If the pending transaction does not get processed and charged to your account, it will usually be removed by your provider in up to 10 business days. Once the charge has been posted to your account, it becomes a posted transaction.

Tax exemptions are not available online through arcteryx.com, outlet.arcteryx.com, or resale.arcteryx.ca at this time.

In-store tax exemptions are available for specific community members in certain locations, providing an inclusive and accessible pathway to purchase high-quality gear.

First Nations individual tax exemptions are available in BC (Park Royal), Ontario (all Arc’teryx Brand Stores & Factory Outlets), and Quebec (Montreal, Royal Mount and Arc'teryx Quartier DIX30).

All applicable taxes will be applied based on the country or region that your order is being shipped to.

Klarna is an installment payment platform. Shoppers can split eligible purchases into interest free payments with no fees, if paid on time.

You may still see occasional mentions of ReGEAR™ as we transition, but know it’s the same commitment to quality, performance, and a lighter footprint.

In exchange for your fully functioning used gear, we will give you a gift card worth 20% of the original value that your product was listed for.

We also have some gear on the site that has been professionally cleaned and repaired in an attempt to extend the life of as many products as possible.

Our gear is built to last, and sometimes our products outlast our guests need for it. When we can keep those products in circulation through resale, we reduce our impact by keeping that gear in the field, which moves us closer to a circular economy.
