Great fit!

Great jacket so far. I have only worn it a few times but it fits perfect. I like the pit zips, and how light it is. This will be perfect for skiing on the mtn and cold backcountry days!

Very bad quality and customer service

This coat is garbage, barely leaving me warm even when wearing layers. After 2 weeks there was a rip in my jacket and they are refusing to fix my VERY TINY rip saying it’s not included but I was promised it would be fixed. Not a good jacket and customer support sucks

Warm and Dry!

One of my favourite jackets for those days when I on the move touring, I can get to the top and throw it over and be cozy and ready to ski down immediately. This really helps me reduce my transition times and the faffing with multiple layers that you have when you wear a shell outer layer. Great for the resort too!

Best jacket with the worst zipper

This is literally the best jacket ever. With literally the worst zipper ever invented. Period I don’t know how they made the world‘s best jacket with the world’s worst zipper. It’s impossible to zip it up or down without having to turn the zipper part inside out to pull out the extra fabric, it’s 100% failure rate putting it on or off. You cannot keep the fabric out of the zipper ever. I have $50,000 worth of jackets home and this is by far the best jacket ever. But also the most aggravating jacket ever. I wear it every single day , and I’ve never wanted So bad to give a five star review but also a one star review. I’ll keep wearing it because it’s so good but I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had to pull the jacket off over my head to try it untangled the fabric from the zipper.

100% agree!! Wonderful jacket but let me tell you it was quite embarrassing when I got stuck in this jacket in store! The staff was friendly and helpful, but yeah they had to help me pull the thing over my head.

This was my first Arcteryx purchase and i was not disappointed. The vitality blue color looks just like the pictures and i love the fact that all the zippers and pull tabs were in a matching blue tone. The jacket is extremely lightweight, warm and doesn't look too puffy like the down version, which is also heavier. I am 5'11", 180 lbs, size 42 chest, 35 sleeve length, and 32 waist, and the large fit me well. I tried the medium, but it was too tight around my chest.

Brilliant jacket. I use this for hiking and dog walking in the unpredictable British weather, The insulation paired with the gore tex shell is perfect for the wet and windy days keeping me warm and dry, on the other hand when the sun pops out the option to unzip the armpit also keeps you cool while on the move. 10/10 would recommend.

Great warmth, fit and decent shell fabric

183cm tall. 90kg. Arc pants size 36R. Own this in L. Three things. First the coreloft insulation is a much less fierce warmth than down. I’ve had a Euler IS jacket for a couple years and have always found it more breathably warm than Ceriums and Thoriums. Never overheat; never feel cold. It’s weird. So the insulation is the first big thumbs up for this Beta insulated jacket. (I would not buy the down version.)
Second, the GORE-TEX shell fabric. It worried me when I first saw this a year or so ago and made me pass by. It felt too thin and fragile, easy to rip. I don’t feel the same about this updated version. The outer shell fabric seems thick enough, even if it is not as crinkly/sturdy as an AR shell. It is thicker than Solano, almost but not quite as thick as a Beta LT. Possibly the same as a Kadin. It’s good enough for me.
And the fit. I have had comedy moments with some L jackets - the new Solano synthetic insulated jacket in L is so gigantic it almost made me laugh out loud. But this fits true in L. Looks more svelte than baggy.
Highly recommended. And that’s even when I compare it with the all time great, the Camosun.

A Beta Insulated jacket wasn't on my radar, I would usually layer a down jacket with a waterproof shell. After using this Jacket on Ben Nevis as well as Glasgow's city centre, it has quickly becomes the "do everything" city garment, something this light shouldn't be so warm... ⭐
