Great Design-small fit

Got this a week ago and the color blue is what is shown web-site. The fit is a little small and short to cover the ears, and I don't feel I have a large head size. Could be more of a medium to large fit for one size fits. Feels like it is slowly sliding off after while as I am pulling on it to make sure it stays on. Not sure if it will really stretch some over time to feel more comfortable. I have to say it is thin enough to wear under a bike helmet and keep your head warm when riding on cool windy days.

tight fit, color doesn't match pics

I love my dead bird products - I generally have at least one on at all times, sometimes 3-4 because they're versatile & durable & so, even if "pricy", of good value. This is the first real complaint I've had - 1.) the color of the product received does not match marketing pictures (it's not a bad color, but not what I was hoping for/thought I was buying), and I understand that color is affected by the device displayed on, but I'd expect the color in marketing pics to be closer to true 2.) as another reviewer posted, the fit is tight. I've noticed I'm getting a headache when I wear it, it's that tight, so I've stopped wearing it & switched to another toque (and I wouldn't say my head is unusually large but others may say that's just my ego talking ;)

Just had this delivered. It looks great but is tiny! Too small for me, too small for my 10 year old son. Feels like it would ping off your head in more than a light breeze. Headgear like this needs to be versatile, you need to be able to tug it down low over the ears when the rain and sleet gets horizontal.

Great color way!

I just received this hat in the mail at the perfect time for colder weather in NYC. The color way is amazing (forest remedy). If I could change one thing, it would be that the hat would be a bit bigger! I have a lot of hair, and the hat fits a bit too tight on my head. It is not as stretchy as I imagined it would be.

I love the arc’teryx products. This toque is to replace my old one. So far so good. It’s nice and warm and if anything like my old one it’ll do me in these cold northern Ontario winters. It fits nice.

Good for all activities

Light weight and pretty warm- ill probably use this for hiking/snowboarding etc this winter. A little tight for my fat head but a better "one size fits all" fit than other brands. Ill probably get another when this one wears out

Nice weight beanie for activities. All my other beanies were nice and thick but got my head too warm/were too bulky when winter hiking. This is a great mix of warmth, comfort, and function. The fleece ear warmer parts feel really great. It’s not too tight on my fairly large head as well. Very comfortable!

When the weather starts to go down, this is my daily go to. I wear it indoors and out. The fleece lining adds warmth, while the top part gives that escape to prevent overheating. The material is nice and stretchy and the overall look is great. Love this!

Bought my fourth bird head toque hat about a month ago. I love to have multiple color options and the fleece lining really helps keep my ears warm without having a bulky hat on top. I’m genuinely surprised on how thin these are yet they keep me warm throughout any activity.

I have two of these, the main comments that I read are concerning the size of the Toque, the care instruction / product label inside the hat is clearly marked 58cm which is approx 22.75 inches. The hat is a lovely snug fit, and does a great job in keeping my head warm but not too hot, and fits nicely under my Atoms hood when I need to keep wind and rain out.

A very good warm and comfortable toque that also looks stylish. The only issue I have is that it’s slightly small for my big head but not to the point where it’s tight. Apart from that, I recommend this product. Looking forward to wearing it during the colder months :)

I initially bought one of these in Soulsonic/Squidink and loved it so much I thought i'd buy another in black as my uniform is black. I waited and waited as these were all out of stock. Then after months of waiting the black became available again so I now have two. These are a great fit and suit all kinds of activities. I have an average sized head but these fit so well. Gleaming product, hence why they are so hard to get hold of.

Great fit and quality (even for bigger heads)

I was very hesitant when I bought it because some of the older reviews stated that this product was way too small for bigger heads. Turns out, they addressed this issue. I have a very large head (I usually wear XL in hats or 7 and ⅝ in new era hats) and it fits great.

I initially bought one of these as a present but was so impressed I ended up buying another for myself ! Great design, lovely colour, fantastic quality, great fit and functional. So pleased with this product- what I would expect from Arcteryx

I read all the reviews and I though people exaggerated with the hat running small. some of the reviews are two years old and response from Arcteryx is that they will take in the reviews and make changes. Well that hasn't happened. The toque is high quality but it does run small even for mid-sized male heads.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago for biking. It is thinner than I expected, so fits under my biking helmet perfectly, even with the Arc’teryx balaclava. The fleece inside lining makes it comfortable and the size fits just over my ears with no extra bulk. I immediately ordered another one for my wife.

I have three of these toques.(purple, grey and black) I have a small head, so they fit perfectly. My husband has used it a fews times, and he has a big head. Does not stretch out of shape and washes beautifully.
