Question 1

Can it fit a 15 inch labtop?

Rick, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thank you for your question. The Axios 10 Backpack measurements are:

• Height: 45 cm
• Width: 27 cm
• Depth: 16 cm

Based on these dimensions, a 15-inch laptop is unlikely to fit comfortably in the pack. If carrying a 15-inch laptop is a priority, we recommend considering the Granville 25 Backpack or the Mantis 26 Backpack, both of which offer greater capacity and are better suited for carrying larger laptops and daily essentials. We hope this helps.

Question 2

what are all the little add-ons used for? the 2 elastic loops in the outer side pockets, the ribbon of loops along the front, the little toggle elastic on the strap, ribbons on zipper pulls. I just purchased this and want to use it most efficiently.

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, the Axios 10 includes a handful of small attachment points designed to help organize quick‑access items on fast hikes. The two elastic loops inside the outer side pockets are meant to secure small objects so they don’t bounce around, things like a compact pump, energy gels, or a narrow water bottle neck. The webbing ribbon along the front is a light external attachment system where you can clip items like a bike light, a small carabiner, or a rolled‑up layer. The toggle elastic on the shoulder strap is for stowing sunglasses or quickly securing the end of a hydration hose if you’re using a separate bladder. The ribbon pulls on the zippers are simply there to make opening and closing the pockets easier when you’re moving fast or wearing gloves. We hope this helps!

Question 3

Will this fit short women? One size usually does not fit me. I am 5'1".

Seymour · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Axios 10 Backpack features a 44 cm back length and is designed to accommodate a range of body types. For someone who is 5'1", we recommend checking the 44 cm back length against your own body measurements to help determine whether the pack will fit comfortably. We hope this helps!

Question 4

The description says spot cleaning only. Why can’t it be washed? It seems like it wouldn’t be too worse for the wear if I were to give it a good rinse or even throw it in the washer.

Amelie, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Lisa, thank you for your question! We recommend spot cleaning only, as machine washing or soaking can affect the backpack's materials, coatings, padding, and overall shape over time. For best results, clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry completely. We hope this helps.

Question 5

can large water bottle fit in the side pockets?

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question! The side pockets can hold many everyday water bottles, but because the Axios 10 is a smaller-capacity backpack, very large or wide bottles may not fit as securely.

Question 6

What is the inside of the pack like? Is there any organization, interior zip pockets, or key leash?

Beth · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for your question! The Axios 10 Backpack includes a sleeve that can fit a small laptop or iPad, making it a versatile option for daily use. It also features a key leash in the top pocket to help keep essentials easy to find. For organization, there is an internal zippered pocket, though it's designed as a secondary access point to the top pocket rather than a completely separate compartment. This provides a convenient place to store smaller items while maintaining a clean, streamlined interior. If you'd like any additional details about the pack's features or capacity, our Guest Services team would be happy to help through our Contact Us page. Happy exploring!

Question 7

Reservoir bladder compatible?

Joseph, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thank you for your question. The Axios 10 Backpack is not specifically designed to be reservoir compatible, as it does not feature a dedicated hydration bladder sleeve or a hose port. While you may be able to place a small hydration reservoir inside the main compartment, there is no designated routing system for the drinking hose.

Question 8

Does it have a hydration pack insert and port for tube?

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, the Axios 10 Backpack does not include a hydration bladder sleeve or a dedicated hose port. It does feature an internal pocket for small essentials, and the top pocket is a pass‑through design that opens from both the main compartment and the small zipper at the top, offering flexible access while you’re on the move.

Question 9

Can it carry a water bottle on the side

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Ruth, yes, the Axios 10 Backpack can carry a water bottle on the side. It features two external stretch‑mesh pockets, one on each side, designed to securely hold standard water bottles while keeping them easily accessible on the move.
