Light weight but tough

I bought this as my signature jacket when I am guiding clients as an International Mountain Leader. It is super light weight but performs like a much heavier jacket. I love wearing it as my first layer over my base layer, just to keep the chill off, a gilet on top makes a great combination.

Great Hoody

I'm very happy that I got this hoody. It is lightweight without feeling flimsy. It has a little bit of stretch but not too much. It has a nice silhouette, slim but not too skinny. The hood is just right. It doesn't stick out or flop around too much. It's great for chilly days with a light mist. I definitely recommend this hoody.

Ignore that negative review, I don’t understand why someone would complain about logo placement, when the jacket looks sleek and appealing to the eyes! The fabric used is high quality and the stitching is top notch. I would definitely recommend using their sizing chart as fitment is true to size

STOP THE SILLY HOOD STITCHED BRANDING!

I know the brand is growing and trying to reach more people, but have some dignity and stop plastering the logo in 2 places. this beautiful product just used to have the chest badge and name in 1 location. why split it in 2 places? so people both walking behind and in front of you can see the obnoxious placement? I know this made sense for high value ski products because touting it around on the slopes was a statement and the more high-value customers that saw it in that type of environment would convert into higher sales but for modest articles of clothing like this it really does ruin the discreet, respectable and "humbleness" of the product. Please. Less branding. Please.

I think the hood logo looks good and why not promote a great brand. If it is a problem go buy another make.

I bought this as a softshell for my Atom LT hoody. Love this thing. Very lightweight and comfortable. A large will fit very nicely over several layers. I usually wear a fleece (size large), and Atom LT (L) underneath this when its cold and a bit windy or drizzly outside and have no problem with the fit. This jacket is definitely not waterproof, but very water resistant. It beads water off like a charm. Is also does a nice job of keeping the cold wind out. My only minor complaint is that the inside of the jacket doesn't have real stuff pockets, but that doesn't really bother me. The hood is nice and spacious and can fit a over a climbing helmet and can be cinched down nice and tight. Overall I think this is a great addition to my Arc'Teryx gear.
