How many weight can this pack carry comfortly?

Hello Shadow, thanks for your question. The Quintic 28 Backpack has a 28‑litre capacity, but we don’t have a specific recommended carry weight for this model. It’s designed for balanced load distribution during ski touring and mountain travel, with a supportive frame sheet and wrap‑around patterning that help keep the pack comfortable when carrying typical day‑tour essentials. For best comfort, we suggest keeping the load within a moderate day‑pack range and avoiding unusually heavy gear that would exceed what a 28 L pack is intended to carry.

How watertight is it? Would it keep contents dry if the conditions were snow, sleet or rain?

Hi Russ, thanks for reaching out. The Quintic 28 Backpack is designed to be weather-resistant rather than fully waterproof. It can handle exposure to snow and light precipitation, but in sustained rain or wet sleet, we recommend using a rain cover on the pack. We hope this helps!

How does the Coarc Helmet holder clip on? Where on the pack?

Hi Ricardo, thanks for reaching out. The Coarc Helmet Carry Pack Accessory clips onto the outside of our technical climbing and snow packs using an intuitive four-point bungee attachment system. It connects directly to the external attachment points on the front of the pack, allowing the helmet to sit securely against the pack while keeping it easy to access. We hope this helps!

Does the pack have ice axe loops?

Hi there, thank you for your question and for checking out the Quintic 28 Backpack. This backpack does not have ice axe loops. The Quintic 28 was designed as a freeride pack, featuring strap configurations for diagonal and vertical ski or snowboard carry, but these are not intended for ice axes. If you’re looking for a pack with built-in ice axe loops, we recommend checking out the Alpha FL 20 Backpack, Alpha FL 30 Backpack, or Alpha SL 30 Backpack, as these packs are all designed for alpine climbing and equipped with secure ice axe attachment points. We hope this helps!

Can you a-frame your skis on the sides of this pack?

Hello Ashh, yes, you can A-frame your skis on the sides of the Quintic 28 Backpack. It’s designed with side adjustment straps and reinforced carry points that support secure skis in an A-frame configuration, ideal for backcountry touring or technical approaches.

How suitable is this backpack for everyday use or hiking? and can the main compartment be accessed from the top or only from the back?

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Quintic 28 Backpack is designed with specific features for freeride skiing and snowboarding, but is versatile enough for everyday use or hiking. The main compartment can be accessed from the top and features multiple access points, allowing gear to be easily reached without taking the pack off. We hope this helps!
