Love a coloured rain pant!

I like the new version of this pant with no fly, tapered lower leg and another colour other than black. Thank you for finally making a rain pant that is NOT black! The only small issue is getting into my phone pocket underneath the pants, the waist is briefly but completely undone while you are in pockets underneath. But that's the trade off for having no fly or waist belt. Thanks for the great pants.

Awesome rain pant

I am sure happy with these rain pants! I lost my old ones and have been looking everywhere for a rain pain that I can put on in the middle of a hike or ski without taking off my boots! I haven’t used them yet but they are in my pack for the Tonquin Valley and Iceland trips this summer!

Breaks easily

I do not recommend these pants and neither Arc’teryx, my pants broke from a slight fall during a hike, incredibly sensitive material. I have also spent a lot of time filling in forms and sending photos on the case, incredibly frustrating and annoying.

I hate rain pants but I love these. It doesn’t feel like wearing a trash bag around your legs and I stay warm and dry in the North Cascades, Rockies, and the Indian Himalayas. They pick down small and I can don them without having to take off my boots. The fit is comfortable and doesn’t restrict movement

Have worn these for years and couldn't be happier. Made for a smaller/shorter woman with a waist that fits.

J’adore le pantalon, mais je suis déçue de sa performance. Mon pantalon à déchiré dès sa première utilisation! Je suis déçue pour un produit aussi dispendieux de sa faible résistance aux déchirures. Les boutons sur le côté semblent aussi être défectueux puisqu’ils se détachent tout le temps.

I bought these for hiking in the snow/rain. I have worn them twice so far (Mailbox Peak and Lake 22). In both instances it has been actively raining and snow present. These have done a fantastic job keeping me dry! I highly highly recommend- worth the price!

Good rain shell

I bought my normal size medium and they are a looser fit but not too baggy. I can fit different layers underneath without issue and have brought them on several vacations. They worked wonderfully keeping me dry.

I am 5'8.5" tall and wear a women's 12 size pant. I bought these in a size large and they were too short. In the photo on the web site the model is supposed to be 5'9" tall and wearing a size small. It's hard to explain why the size large was too short for me when I am shorter than the model.

Not made for the mountains

I took these pants on one hike and they were all ripped up everywhere. They are not tough enough for mountain activities. Spend your money elsewhere on truly durable goretex shell pants. I’ve owned goretex shells before and they truly live up to mountain activities - climbing, skiing, hiking- you name it. But these pants are two thumbs down unless you’re using them to walk in a mall.

Luckily, the Beta Pant is here to keep you dry when you need it. The breathable, waterproof fabric allows vapor from your body to escape without letting water in. Plus, ¾-length side zips provide extra ventilation and make it easy to layer up in an unexpected storm.
What's been updated: Updated with a PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE laminate for a lower footprint. A new low-profile bonded stretch waistband with lower profile internal waist drawcord, single thigh pocket, and ¾-length side zipper deliver improved comfort and freedom of movement. An updated lower-profile hem reinforcement gives enhanced durability.
This product is free of intentionally added PFAS.
The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before. You may notice the face fabric “wetting out” slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you notice the fabric wetting out faster than you’d like, simply wash the jacket and dry it to remove the oil contamination and bring the DWR back to its full power.
