I’ve tried many brand’s version of this jacket and the Atom by far has the nicest quality and features. My only complaint is that it is still too long in the smaller sizes. In 2020 it was practically at short people’s knees, and while the 2023 is way better, it could still stand to be an inch or two shorter. They need to r&d with some smaller models!

Best jacket I own! This jacket is light, comfortable, warm and its design is great. Would recommend it to anyone. I use it as an insulation layer and top jacket during different activities or just as a daily jacket.

I bought this jacket 2-3 years ago when it was the LT. This is the best jacket I have ever owned. It keeps me warm in almost every temperature where I live. It also never gets too hot inside either.

The Atom is my go to for alpine days or just cruising around town. Keeps me pretty warm when needed and is stylish but functional for climbing days as well. This is probably the jacket I grab 90% of the time!

Traded in a very old atom (via ReGear) and picked up a current one! Fit is the same and incredibly warm. It actually feels just a bit warmer than the old Atom LT (Feels like it's between LT and AR - but I could be wrong). Perfect for a walk around town in fall and early winter. 10/10 would recommend.

You cant go wrong with this jacket. A timeless classic, warm, versatile and stylish. I use mine while hiking, fishing and commuting to work. I practically live in this jacket. I have both the new revised "Atom Hoody" and the older "Atom LT Hoody". They look and feel identical to me (I'm using XL).

For the weight, warmth, style and ability to tackle so many different environments it’s my “daily” and was my first entry into this incredible brand. Bravo. Typically I have a hard time finding a jacket that doesn't feel loose around my chest and that has sleeves long enough for my harm, but this one does just that!
Really like the color as well, it's not too flashy but it still has an unique touch.
The pockets inside are well situated as well.
The only thing is that I wouldn't recommend it while hiking, since it gets quite hot!

I bought this hoodie 2 months ago and I don’t have a bad thing to say about this product , it’s lightweight , packs small (too the size of a large apple) very waterproof for light rain and even in heavier showers it will keep you dry long enough too grab your raincoat on a hike , I’ve used it as a mid layer for skiing and it works brilliantly ! Would 100% recommend

Excellent gear that is reliable and dependable

During my trip to North Africa a sudden cold front blew in unexpectedly. I had only packed my Atom LT jacket since no cold conditions was forecasted or expected during the late summer months. Amazingly my Atom LT did the job by keeping me comfortable and warm during this cold spell and definitely prevent any sickness due to cold conditions. I was able to continue taking daily hikes without over heating and shopping in souks while being very comfortable. So impressed with my Atom LT that I decided to buy every version available.

If I could only have one jacket, this would be the one. Soft and stretchy, great for a mild cool day and warm enough to withstand harsher winters. Other popular brand jackets can be warm but they are not as breathable.

Great jacket poor quality control

I bought this jacket a couple of weeks back and the first time I wore it out I noticed thread from inside the jacket was coming out. Considering the price of the jacket I assumed they'd rectify the issue but no.
Arc'teryx are too caught up in the hype of being a fashion brand and have forgotten their ethos. People pay top dollar for top quality, and maintaining that standard should be top of their agenda.

So I have 2 of these in different colors and love them. Plan on ordering some new ones this year. Very breathable, keeps you warm in cold weather but regulates your temp in warmer weather so you don’t sweat as much. Just a light jacket that packs away beautifully. I highly recommend especially for everyday l, run your errands type jacket, this is it! Make sure you order extra, my wife loves to wear mine!

I have been using this throughout the summer and fall so far, and it has been fantastic to wear on colder mornings, and easy to pack away when the day heats up. It is a cozy/comfortable piece as a stand alone, and works well as a mid layer when things get chillier.

Fantastic shoulder season jacket - pros and cons

Only gripe is also a benefit. The hybrid material under the arms is very thin, so if I’m not exercising, I’ll get chilled, especially when it’s for casual/urban use. I wish it were a wee more wind resistant under the pits, but still provided the thermal management.

La veste casual toute saison !

La Atom reste la référence comme veste à porter toute l'année. Idéale à la mi saison pour tout faire ou comme polaire en été. Je la porte sous ma Beta en hiver. La ratio apport de chaleur/respirabilité est surement un des meilleurs du marché. J'ai aussi eu la fameuse Nano qui est moins résistante aux intempéries.

Must have piece of kit!

I now own 3 of these, and use them all year round (unless it's above 30 degrees!), but mostly as a mid-layer in winter, particularly for skiing .. warm, but not too hot, they're perfect.
