How to wash footwear & packs

1. Prepare your gear

Shake out all loose dirt. Remove laces from footwear. If possible, remove and shake out the foot bed or insole. For packs, open every pocket and compartment and remove all items. Leave pockets unzipped.

2. Wash

Spot clean as needed, check the care label on the product for exact guidelines

3. Rinse

Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.

4. Dry

Do not use a dryer or any other direct source of heat. Leave to air dry. If you air-dry outside, choose a spot in the shade.

5. Protect

Apply Durable Water Repellent (DWR) to re-protect your shoes if the water no longer beads and runs off the fabric.

Recommended detergent

Arc’teryx technical outerwear are high-tech materials; standard detergents contain additives such as softeners and brighteners that are deposited during washing that may negatively affect performance.
