Question 1

Do the hand pockets have zippers?

Rick, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thank you for your question. The Solano Jacket features two zippered hand pockets, with one located on each side of the jacket for secure storage of small essentials. We hope this helps.

Question 2

Does Solano provide any UPF protection?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The GORE-TEX fabric used on the Solano Jacket has not been tested or certified for a UPF rating. That said, the fabric is designed to be weather-resistant, windproof, breathable, and water repellent. We hope this helps!

Question 3

Hello, I would like to ask if this model comes with embroidered or printed logos?

River · Accepted Answer

Hello Angel, the Solano Jacket has embroidered logos.

Question 4

Question 5

Hi I'm just wondering
The logo on the jacket is embroidered in this new season model
Or it is just printed like privious Solano jacket

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi, thanks for your question! The logos found on the Solano Jacket are embroidered. This includes the center back collar, the left chest, and the right sleeve. We hope this helps!

Question 6

Is the logo on the back of the collar also reflective? Are there any plans for a new version without reflective logos?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi there, great question! The logo on the back collar is reflective, just like the one on the front. Since this item is designed for trail and mountain activities, the reflective logos are intended to enhance visibility in low-light conditions. As such, it's unlikely that the design will change to non-reflective logos.

Question 7

What is the center back length of the small, medium and large?

Dave · Accepted Answer

Hi Tom. The Solano Jacket has a center back length of 71.5cm, 74cm, and 76.5cm in sizes S, M, and L.

Question 8

After washing do you replace the coating like you would a DWR on a hard shell?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi there, great question! Yes, similar to a hard shell, we recommend reapplying the DWR coating after washing and drying your jacket to maintain its water-repellent performance. This jacket features a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, and if you notice water no longer beading on the surface, it’s a good sign it’s time to refresh it. Question 9

How much of the Solano jacket uses the Gore-tex infinium and where is it located?

Jimmy · Accepted Answer

Hello there. The GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ fabric is used in the entire jacket. It is the makeup of the outer shell as well as the inner membrane. The only portion of the jacket that is not GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ would be the liner on the inside of the jacket.
