5 star pants if you buy the right size

I’ve worn these for a week in temperatures between -2c and -10c and been totally comfortable. The Phantasm matches the interstellar Andessa perfectly, can’t really comment on the durability but given my experience with Arc I doubt that will be a problem. I’ve noted the various comments about the waist fastening and I’ve not had a problem. I suspect you just have to be realistic with the sizings. If you have ‘muffin top’ you probably need to size up and accept you no longer fit the same pants you did at 16. If they fit comfortably around the waist as pictured you’ll be fine.

Terrible Snap Design

Worst pant ever! The snap constantly comes undone every time you move and then they unzip! Completely useless. I will be returning them as they just aren’t functional for any activity.

defective and poor design

These pants are terrible, they are poorly made and unbuttoned constantly. Additionally, the internal belt on these pants broke after only 4 months of use. I bought these a size up from my regular size (bought an 8R normally a 6R) and whenever I would sit down, make a turn on my skis or even just walk the snaps would pop open the zipper would unzip and then the pants would be falling down. I have sent these off to at least get the belt repaired but I am extremely disappointed especially given how expensive they are. It is clear that this is not just a problem with my pant but with all of these, I sincerely hope that arcteryx will provide something to those of us who bought these pants.

Please fix this pant!

This insulated pant would be absolutely perfect if the snaps didn’t constantly pop open and the zipper go down! I have literally been midway down a run with my pants completely undone and only staying up thanks to the elastic waistband in my jacket! So frustrating especially since Arcteryx has been my go to ski brand for literally decades now. I’m so reluctant to drop another >$600 on pants that I can’t wear.

Waist snaps horrible

Same issue as many others. The snaps in the waist is horrible. The snaps push open when I bend down to adjust my ski boots, ski and sit in the ski lift. Can’t beleive these pants are still on the market. Customers should be offered a full refund!

Faulty snap

I bought these trousers a few months ago in the store and once I was on the slopes wearing them it became clear that the snap function was defective. The trousers would pop open in the middle of difficult runs and be practically at my ankles at the bottom of the hill. Tried to return them in store and was told that I could not because they are worn and have no tags. But how was I supposed to know that they were faulty until I tested them on the mountain! Feeling very ripped off and unsatisfied with the customer service I have received. It is obvious from reading the other review that the product is faulty and should be taken off the market. As I bought them quickly after they were released there were no reviews at the time that could have warned me.

Terrible Customer Service

Just a follow-up on my review below. I sent the pants to the product service department (at my expense), and they sent them back with the same defective snaps. I asked again for a refund, and was told that they will not give me my money back, and offered a voucher instead. I had to buy different pants in the middle of my trip because it was clear I could not ski in these without them literally falling down, so the voucher does me no good. Given the reviews, the company knows that it is selling a defective product and is continuing to do it anyway, and then refusing refunds when people figure out that they have purchased an expensive products that they cannot use.
