Purchased mine in-store, really like it, and came to look at other colors and was shocked to see all the negative reviews. I love the trucker shape - shorter bill, higher crown, and a nice design feature that allows the strap of the hat to stay flat against your head regardless of how you bend the bill. Materials feel very high quality, and it's very breathable in the heat. It can handle sweat: I've worn it for a week of long hikes and even backpacking, but it's not meant for trail running or other super-high exertion activities, so if that's what you're looking for, pick something else designed for those activities. Considering buying it in a few other colors I like this one so much.

I bought this hat with a lot of excitement. I’m bald and the inner strap/cushion surrounding the head and forehead is the equivalent of sandpaper. Super cheap material for $55. Hot foreign garbage and not worth the price.

This cap have a very good style and fit well. Good aeration for hot day!

Nice fit and comfortable materials. I was impressed by the quality of this hat. The hat is a little boxy which is odd, but doesn’t look bad on my gigantic head.

I had the previous version of this hat, and I'll preface with it was the best hiking/backpacking hat maybe ever made. It was top quality (or so I thought), and the fit was perfect. Unfortunately the clasp broke in half during a hike in Kauai, so Arcteryx replaced it under warranty. This is where the new design comes in when I ordered the replacement - and the fit is terrible. They made it larger in circumference, taller in the worst way, more boxy, and the fit is just not good all the way around albeit does feel like it has the Arcteryx quality still which is the only saving grace. They need to back to the drawing board and bring back the prior design that made everyone fall in love with this; the updates/changes are just bad. I cannot recommend this hat, especially for the cost. Please fix your error, Arcteryx, and bring back the hat that we all love.

The hat is super light and very breathable. Better than what I have.

Please, please please bring back the older version of this with the smooth front. This version has a weird puffy panel in the front and looks so different and odd. The previous version of this hat was PERFECT and was my favorite hat of all time.

Don't mean to wax poetic about a trucker hat, but dang... I really like this hat. It's light, comfortable, breathable, and I have no sense of style or fashion, but I think it looks pretty sweet too. I appreciate the simplicity of it. Feels good on my head and fits well. Big fan.

I bought this hat a couple months ago. I love it. For a few years now I’ve been considered buying this hat, but the reviews kept me from doing so. This year I decided to pull the trigger, it’s a $70 trucker hat, so I was a bit nervous about it. I’ve been buying Arc’teryx shells and other jackets for well over 15 years, so I’m pretty committed to the brand, I’m glad to say I’m just as satisfied with this hat as anything else I’ve purchased. The pictures don’t do the quality of the hat justice, the raised logo, the tightness of the mesh, the suppleness of the fabric, its all top notch, I was stoked when I took it out of the packaging. I’ve got a big head, so this fit is as good as it gets!!! Truly, I’ve never had a hat fit me better than this. The world is full of different head shapes and sizes, don’t let your head influence your review so much, just because you’ve got a small one doesn’t mean it’s a poorly designed hat, it’s just not the one for you. It’s a trucker hat, I think it’s meant to fit a bit bulky, have you ever seen a real truck hat? The foam ones from the 70s? They’re massive. This hat is designed on a slightly bulky scale, as it should be. What I love most about this hat is that it’s got a deep fit, so I can be fishing on a windy river or running through the woods and I know it’s not going to fly off my head. Pricy, but worth it. I’ll buy a second one for sure!

I have over 30 different hats, caps, beanies for outdoor adventures and this is by far the best! Fits securely, lightweight, thin around the edges and behind the ears. I never write reviews but felt compelled to. My first piece of Arc Teryx gear and I will defo look to them for my next purchase.

Just absolutely garbage quality. Tried it on and didn’t even buy. Save your money. Hard metal knot on the top, poor fit and the brim feels like cardboard and pinches your head.

This is the quintessential trucker hat. It's difficult to find performance trucker hats with this much structure and volume. This hat doesn't mat down my hair and doesn't cause pain in my scalp like other hats when worn for a long time. My only gripe is the color selection isn't great. Please come out with better colorways so I can buy more! Collab with some young designers and offer cooler colors, please!

It gets better with each revision. I still don’t understand why there aren’t multiple sizes available. For example, S/M and M/L I also like the ultralight materials and the mesh construction very much but a lot of people like billboard truckers and some have small heads. Multiple sizes is the easiest way to appease everyone. I like it better than previous revision but I’m returning it due to color discrepancy.

I bought this hat thinking a trucker hat for sport would be the best. Unfortunately I was wrong. It is not confortable and looks super bulky. It could be better.

I bought one of these hats a year ago and ended up giving it away because the fitment was so off. Saw the revised version and gave it shot. The quality and fitment are miles better then the first hat I bought. I highly recommend to try this one out!

As many others here, also I was excited to get the old version back, but this one here is another disappointment. Unfortunately, this is a new bulky version of once best hat ever. Luckily I bought the old version in 6 different colors. Also the wrong images are used, which is highly misleading - the model in black is the PREVIOUS version of this hat which is NOT sold anymore. Please dear Product Team, bring back the old design! Thanks for considering that.

Perhaps I’m an anomaly however I’ve found this hat to be super comfortable and better fitting than my standard new era and sports hats. I really enjoy the break in the bill around the head specifically enabling a softer and lighter fitment. It also creates just a small amount of rubbing on my forehead due to this design or I would have rated 5 stars. It’s a bit of a catch 22 as the bill design allows a better and overall more comfortable fit however the small half circle at the brim also means the internal cardboard (or whatever materials are utilized) for a little spot that happens to rub. It’s hardly noticeable however after a day of wear I had a little red spot. I’m certain it will eventually break in, however I’m also not wearing it overly tight or loose. One notch looser the rubbing was non existent. I ordered the black and also liked the dark green lettering design choice. A few negative reviews however it seemed to fit my dome well and will be replacing my new era ball caps I have.

I don't know why you persist in continuing to produce this style of cap in addition to incorporating this absorbent foam which is of no use except making the cut of this cap awful. Why not produce the standard low profile trucker model, the best-selling style worldwide by ALL major brands.
