Great Fit and Durable

I bought this for myself to use for any outdoor activities I do at work, and it surpassed my initial expectations. Upon receiving the jacket, I couldn't help but notice how thin it felt and I wondered if it would keep me warm whatsoever. After wearing it for a while, I can say that it does extremely well with cool and breezy weather. If you're constantly moving too, it holds heat in really well. It's ability to wick moisture also surprised me, I can't remember ever feeling damp or uncomfortable in it after sweating a little. All together, a really great mid-layer for any type of activity.

Great Base/Mid Layer

The versatility with this jacket is awesome. I use it as a stand-alone jacket in the fall and a mid layer in the winter under my shell ski jacket. It’s lightweight fabric and packability are an added bonus.

My new favorite fleece

Bought this 2 weeks ago and it has quickly become my goto flecce. The fit is perfect, not to tight or losse, just right. The lightweight material and attention to detail and quality of stitching is exactly what i expect of an arcteryx product.

Great lightweight midlayer

Purchased this a few years back and I've found it to be great as a relatively warm midlayer while trekking in northern latitudes for fieldwork. Doesn't add much bulk to either a pack or a layering system, and very comfortable.

Fantastic all-around piece

Just got the Delta in Medium. I’m 5’8” and 180 and it fits perfectly. A great in-between piece that’s more robust than a base layer and active fleece. Incredibly comfortable and breathable. Immediately became a staple for me. Recommended!

The perfect lightweight fleece for cool weather.

I tried this jacket on when I was in Oslo this summer. They didn't have my size, but as soon as I got home I ordered and couldn't be happier. I have perhaps a dozen fleece pieces in various hooded/non-hooded configurations, and the Delta Jacket is the simplest and most sublime. I can throw it on over a short sleeve tee and be comfortable around the house or on a cool weather hike. It's also just minimally technical in its look which makes for a stylish impression that goes over well when going out to dinner. Sometimes simplicity is the answer, and this is a case where that is absolutely true. I couldn't recommend this jacket more highly.

Best high output fleece I have ever owned

I bought the Delta last year and it was one of the best purchases ever. I wear it almost daily to work and hikes along the trails and it is a lifesaver when the conditions change to the cooler side. It also does a great job at keeping you cool thanks to a grid fleece that lets out damp hot air easily. Durability wise it holds up better than previous delta iteration. All in all could not be happier with this purchase! I hope it will stay for long.

Really nice lightweight jacket. Just needs pockets

I got this jacket a few weeks ago and have already used it many times. The slate blue color is neutral enough to get by at work and the fleece works well as a light layer for cool evenings. It's comfortable, the fit is good, and I like the thumb holes in the sleeves to provide a little hand warmth. The only thing missing from making it truly great is side pockets.

Great light weight fleec

Recently purchased this light weight fleece jacket. Love it. It’s cut right for athletic activities or just to wear around. I see some reviewers want pockets. Given it’s really light weight - I think the jacket is better without them. Plus, it has a pocket on the chest if really needed for something small. Great item Arcteryx.

Great fitting base/mid layer for cold activities

I've been trying out the Delta Jacket, a piece I've wanted to try out for a while, and I wasn't disappointed. It's been very useful with camping, especially on the colder evenings/nights, wearing it for a mixture of being cosy and comfortable, but keeping warm. It's a slim fit, questionably on the tighter side but it is meant to be a base layer style, breathable when moving around and the material feels soft on skin. I'm not a fan of polartec or fleece on my skin, so the Delta material is perfect for this. I'm excited to try this out as a go to layer for the colder days snowboarding and backcountry touring, as I know it will maintain my warmth during high output activity, without causing me to sweat or be drenched. I would tell my friends to purchase this item for those high output activities.

Comfy but no pockets?!

Fir is good; Is comfy and thumb holes are great vs last editions. But even the Delta LT had pockets. The women’s version of this jacket does too; so odd where manufacturers decide to save weight and $…. The delta is ideal weight for Carolinas for a good portion of the year, but loses practicality vs the previous Gen.

Where have the pockets gone?

Received this in the post today and I am not satisfied. Had the jacket got pockets like the womens version I probably would have kept it. I’ll be honest the previous LT was the bomb, arc please listen to your customers and bring it back.

Loved the Earlier model Delta Light....

Just bought this newer version of the Delta Light after owning four older models. This jacket no longer has the deep, zippered side pockets that were so useful. The fleece grid is inside, the outer side is knitted-more prone to snags. The one central chest pocket is less useful. The teal blue is beautiful color, but less versatile than the old navy. This jacket model will be as useful as the old for travel, layering, year round wearing, less versatile, more casual looking than original Delta Light.

ideal mid layer for climbing

This is my go to mid layer for all mountain pursuits when it is -10 C or above. It is warm, breathes well and has a simple chest pocket for phone/snacks. I usually just wear a t-shirt underneath in the winter, and throw a shell on once I am done approaching a climb. If below -10 C I grab the proton FL instead. Very durable for rock climbing as well. I mostly grab size medium but small fits better for this piece.

Love the jacket, better fit than Delta LT, great material, stretch, thumb holes are a great touch too. Fits great under an atom LT of the same size. Delta Lt was kinda short fitting so I was sizing up, I have a full zip and quarter zip delta Lt in large, but I wear every atom in medium. This new delta in medium is perfect, very athletic fit and the outside material does not have the polar grid which makes it very minimalist and technical. I’ve seen comments about the lack of pocket but honestly I don’t see the point for an underlayer, in fact that makes it perfect to me. It serves its purpose in a very elegant way.

Delta jacket, almost great

This is the replacement for the Delta LT, awesome piece of gear. I use it as a mid layer when really cold and as a light outer layer fleece when just cool. Difference and the reason it’s not 5 stars is they did away with the pockets, giant mistake for me. Also the waffle pattern of the fleece is only on the inside so it kinda seems inside out. Lack of pockets limits it to a mid layer for the most and that makes me sad. The delta will get some use but not like my old trusty delta lt.

Incredibly light and warm

I purchased this for morning winter runs, which are typically in the 30-45 F temp range—cool but not super cold. So far it’s served as the perfect layer across that range of temps. Comfy, good fit, and the thumb holes are a great bonus (with the right amount of sleeve length to complement them too). I love the orange color for low light dark winter runs too. Highly recommended!

Re: the thumb holes and sleeve lengths, it's great when you are in the thumb holes. But when wearing casually about without thumb holes in use the sleeves are very long and will bunch up unless you have extremely long arms. I thought about returning mine for this reason, but then I looked in the mirror and, the bunching looks perfectly fine. I'll get used to it. I got this piece for high warmth to weight and it looks to be awesome in that category.
