Lightweight, comfortable for all foot types

Arcteryx shoes are always top of class. These are comfortable, super light weight, and breathable. Feels like walking/running on clouds. I am slightly flat footed with a slightly wide foot and these are phenomenal. Highly recommend.

The best

I bought these shoes for trail running and they quickly became my go to shoe. They feel amazing on my feet and have great traction for the trails, but are so comfortable that I got another pair for work (healthcare), dog walks, weekends, and everything in between. They do run a half size big for me so order accordingly!

Great trail running shoe!

Best trail running shoe for me especially on the rocky and rooty trails on the East Coast. No blisters due to good heel hug and space for my toes. The vibram/non-slip sole of the shoe is awesome. I have been loyal to other footwear brands with my trailrunning footwear for years but I am not officially converted to the Norvan LD4.The shoe runs a little large. I'm typically a women's US size 8 but when down to a 7.5

My New Favourite Shoe!

I've logged just under 200km in the new Arc'teryx LD4s and have been really impressed with their performance. Based in Squamish, I’ve tested them across a variety of terrain, and they’ve handled it all exceptionally well. The grip is solid—both on rock slabs and in muddy conditions.
Compared to the LD3s, these feel sleeker and more dialed in. My feet feel secure, especially on technical terrain, which has given me a lot of confidence on more demanding routes. My longest run so far in them has been 30km, and I found the cushioning to be nicely balanced, it offers comfort over distance without completely muting ground feel.
I’d recommend the LD4 as a versatile all-trail shoe that really shines on technical terrain.

Major upgrade to the LD series

Having owned and heavily used the LD 2 and LD 3 shoes, I can easily say the LD 4's are my favourite iteration yet. First of all, they were the easiest to break in yet. In the past it's taken weeks to run without sore feet, but these ones were a breeze with very little stiff/soreness.
They "feel" lighter and more responsive than the prior versions too, and the grip has definitely levelled up. I've used these on both road and trail so far (plus some very old cobblestone roads while travelling) and I've enjoyed the feel on all of those. I don't think I'd recommend it for consistent longer runs on pavement (for obvious reasons) but have done a few 8-10k runs with them and still felt great.
Finally it feels like the toe box might be a bit more spacious in this version? I have slight bunions on the outer edges (pinky side) of my feet so the room is a big W for me :)

A great update to an already awesome trail shoe!

My previous concern with the LD3s was that the edges of the toe box had a tendency to blow out after running on rocky terrain. HOWEVER, these solve that issue! The sides of the toe box are reinforced with an additional layer and the toe box itself has been shaved down slightly to mold better to natural foot movement. Super great changes to an already amazing shoe!

A subtle yet solid upgrade!

The Norvan LD4 has some thoughtful updates that long-distance trail runners will appreciate. Right away, the improved heel fit stands out and it locks in more securely than previous versions and gifts a more confidence and stability on technical terrain.
The redesigned lug pattern is meant to offer better grip, and while it’s not a night-and-day difference on shorter runs, the added traction really comes through when needed. There’s also a noticeable change in cushioning — it feels a touch more forgiving underfoot.
The LD4 stays true to the Norvan DNA - light, reliable, and built for distance.
